Obeliskos aka sneakman is in e2. He's a damn good spy. Although the Kunai IS fun, and blindstabbing pyros while on fire is rewarding, I maintain that CnD is useless, you can run around on ammo with IW. Also, this is just a bunch of normal backstabs. :/

@nightmareticket You're probably "unstoppable" with them because you're playing against god awful players or F2Pers who don't even know what a spy is.

The kunai's biggest payoff is burst healing during chainstabs, increasing survivability. That's it. In return, you get a base health that allows you to be one shot by nearly anything in the game (including ONE melee swing from most melees) and the kunai overheal removes the ability to put out fire with medkits and be overhealed by medics.

@ObeIiskos Yeah exactly. I hate respawning, so for me survivability is tops. I don't even think about the reduced baseline health, it's irrelevant after you get a single backstab. If on fire; backstab. If low health; backstab. That's basically how I play the spy. No more need to run away and grab health packs because the enemies ARE health packs! and often times they're a lot closer than a health pack.

You're a bad spy and you play against shitty players. Anything you can do with the Kunai + CnD, you can do with ANY other plausible setup much more efficiency about 99.9% of the time. I can do well with those awful weapons too, but that's because I'm really good at this class. I do better with the other weapons.

Respond to this video... I'm the king of spies man, I've been owning long before it was F2P. As for the cloak and dagger, I can take it or leave it. But I'm usually doing something passive while I play, like drinking coffee or something, and I love being able to just sit around cloaked while I take a drink. Just a personal preference of mine. Other than that, I agree, the normal watch is better. And I've had some good fun with the dead ringer as well. But I'll always be a cloak guy.

i think the bar for when something is a backstab should be hightended as facestabs happens far too often, personnaly i think it shoudl primarely depend on: if the spy is in the least way inside the view field of the "victim" a backstab should be impossible. and if anyone think different feel free to tell me your opinion as longs as its not full of insults and hate :)

@freakymoejoe2 I know this is a two month old comment, bu let me explain why facestabs happen, and why the game would require a complete rework to fix them. This game has lag compensation. What you're seeing happen to another person is as close as your connection allows to see what's happening in real time, but on another person's screen (say, the Spies), they could be in a different location entirely. With two lag-compensating players duking it out, there's always a possibility of a facestab.

This was a pretty good video. I have a tendency to get paranoid when playing with Cloak and Dagger, so I generally try to not use it if possible. You seem to be fairly proficient with it though.

A spy can go well against a good team, but 99% of spies play against terribad failteams.

I play spy every now and then in matches, it will work maybe once per game, but after one death they generally won't let it happen again.

there isnt a single impressive thing in this video =/ everyone your playing with is bayudddd, like the people you uncloak right behind and dont hear it. if you wanna impress people with playing on a pub you really need to do stairstabs. theres nothing impressive about clicking busy noobs backs, or stab n sapping a sentry. only remotely impressive kill is the leapstab but thats still not hard alone, throw in a 5 killstreak with it and you've got some interesting footage for a spy video

Well here is a tip, first it is cool but it doesnt really seems like something unbelivable beacuse it is in THIRD person. I am assuming that this has been captured by someone who was spectating you ( a friend ) and recording... next time it would be 100x times better if you would record in First Person!

How is everyone so clueless for you. At 1:11 you walk RIGHT in front of a heavy after stabbing 2 other heavies (less than 4 seconds before that so you weren't disguised), and the guy doesn't even flinch. Just keeps walking until he gets backstabbed.
