Love this video, and the music is awesome perfect duo! I will be going bow hunting for Dall sheep this fall and your hunting experience gets me all excited , but i know i will have a far greater challenge getting in a very close range. Thanks for posting this great video.
I'm only 12 and hunting Is my life. People that don't like hunting just don't watch the vidioes! If you don't like it why do you watch it?! So you can post a stupied comment about it?! If you kill one it's good for the rest if the ecosystem! If their overpopulated, they eat all the food and starve. By killing a few, there's more food for the rest. What would you rather have, one die painlessly or all suffer and die?
well done lads, you have inspired me. we are planning a hunt in northern bc -yukon next year. your video shows a balance of hard work and grit determination. amazing, truly amazing. thank you for sharing your video
Its good to know that in not the only hunter who listens to metallica lol. Good shot man and alot of respect for this hunt. Done it myself a few times and it is not easy carrying all that weight vertically. good job man. what caliber did you shoot? im guessing a 7mm mag or 300 ??
I used a Tikka T-3 270 Short Mag. Great velocity, flat-shooting. I used to have a 300 Weatherby, but traded it in for the lighter rifle. I've been happy ever since. Thanks for posting.
Good job guys, it looks like you had an amazing experience, from a fellow dall sheep hunter in the Yukon congratulations. You really inspire me to take a video of my next sheep hunt. Happy trails and a heavy pack.
Thanks for posting! I'm glad to have a viewer that knows what dall sheep hunting is all about: determination and a whole lot of luck. We were incredibly lucky to bag this ram, and I nearly missed my 300+ yard shot (with no cross wind). The stars were aligned for me I guess. As you are aware, any Alaskan experience is a reward in and of itself, and I'm glad to meet another enthusiast. Best of luck with your future hunting adventures! Take a video of that bear hunt for me so I don't have to.
Congratulations. I went last year and saw countless rams, about six huge animals. One was 40"+. Never could get in close enough until day 8 of a 10 day hunt. I had a 300+ yd shot after stalking him for about 5 hrs. Had beautiful weather until that day. Had a 20 - 25 mph cross wind and missed the guy. Never saw another sheep after that day. So, I went home MT handed with sheep, but beautiful memories. Going to try it again in 2011 but for Grizzly as well.
Nice video for Metallica fans who sheep hunt, but it sucks for the rest of us who sheep hunt.

@jwfishak What do you think these guys are hunting in New York city !
The Tok area of Alaska is as remote as it gets and there is no roads for other hunters to be in the same area .

Should have chosen Trapped Under Ice instead...

Love to hunt Dall once in my life. These hunts seem out of reach for me financially. How much for a trip likee this if you don't mind my asking?
