@snupcho Not that it matters much,but Ladytron has two singers,not one! Mira is as you say from Bulgaria,and Helen is from Glasgow,and they met up with the two scousers (one being a chinese version) Daniel and Reuben in 1999,and formed Ladytron,and the rest as they say is history:-)

Sometimes songs like this just give you the images in your head to go along with the tune. Sometimes there isn't a meaning, just a sense of the surreal. (this seems to be the case of many of Ladytron's music, from what I've heard of her so far.)

I rarely say something like that because I like songs to have a meaning, but I like the surreal worlds she creates.

I think it can mean whatever you want it to mean (well that was a cheap answer -_-;).

It sounds like someone broke her heart, and she's neutral about it, not hating him enough or loving him enough to free him or act to release him from whatever torment or trouble he got into. She sounds like she's saying he's lucky if he freezes, and that fate is letting him off easy if that's all that happens to him.

She also seems to want something back "the key of ignition". Maybe she wants him to finish what he started, or to end it.
