  • whats the name of the song they sing at the end i cant find the instrumental version

  • With that way every child on earth would be more exited about Hitory in school :O

Well in each leanguage of course XD

  • me: hey grandma what nationalitys am i?

grandma: um russian, french, italian, austrian, japnese, but ur mainly german, your about 30% eastern german, prussian to be exact

me: *brain thinks of prussias rape face* ROLF

    grandma: o.o wud i say

me: nothing, carry on *trys not to laugh at prussias rape face*

  • This is amazing! O.O ANYMORE?!?! xD Oh and now I am addicted to that short little song of Prussia's Glory....^^

And it's an adaption of something else? How, changing the tune and all must of took a while. :) LOVE IT!!

  • ah., if histroy classes we're depicted like this., it wouldn't allow most of us to sleep on it.,

  • holy shit this is exactly what we are doing in class (memorizes video)

  • i really like the sound horizon´s song adaption and history is so much easier thanks to hetalia =)

  • you look at old fritz in this then on wiki. Tell me theres something wrong with this picture. I like this old fritz better.

  • excelent! the histori ;w; amv! love Frederick .. preussen *w* .. yeah.. the Great is on 0:50 I think :D <3 definitly on my favourites thanks ;w;

  • Awesome video!I love how they just don't teach us this type of thing in school....even though it was freakin important -_- thank god that during my 6th year of German I can take a special history course and actually learn about an IMPORTANT part of European history.

  • Is there is downloadlink to this song?

    or story...

  • Cooles Video, ich mag es ^^

  • This history is attentive to me by description.

  • Oh my. Old Fritz is.... so attractive in this. xD When I read "I won't run away from you again" I knew it was Old Fritz because that's what he did right? He tried to run away once before with his best friend? I read that from Wikipedia. It looked sad because that was "supposedly" his lover. Hetalia gives me a lot more perspective in history than actual school does.

Where does this audio actually come from? What was it's original purpose?

  • @ArexFTW I agree im getting alot more out of this video than i did in history class. They should start showing this video in history classes when studing the 7 year war, it would be WAY more effective! ^_^

  • this is very well made, though I have one small thing to say, wasn't old Fritz's real name not "Friedrich Wilhelm II"? (at least in here in Germany he is calle dlike that)

  • The names are really confusing......there are four historical figures mentioned in the video.

0:16 Frederick William (1620-1688) [Great Elector]

    0:16 Frederick I (1657-1713) [King in Prussia]

    0:33 Frederick William I (1688-1740) [Soldier King]

    0:50 Frederick II (1712-1786) [King of Prussia/The Great/Old Fritz]

btw, Frederick William II is his successor

  • okay, that really is confusing....well, maybe that are their names in english, because in William is not a typical german/prussian name, Frederick William is called Friedrich Wilhelm in german.

I don't know, maybe its really just about the different languages..

  • William is the English version of Wilhelm. Just like Ludwig becomes Louis in English.

  • There are equivalents of names in different languages, yes, but you don't change the name of a person when translating.

  • @SupporterInDenial

but that's how they are called in English text...

  • that's a lot of fredericks o_o

  • @Windmelodie Friedrich Wilhelm II was his nephew. Friedrich Wilhelm I was his father. He really is Friedrich II.

  • and... the subs O_O?

  • I'm sorry but I can't see any of the subs for your translated video!?!?!?

    What should I do???

  • I use youtube's caption feature for the subtitles. you can activate it by clicking the menu button (the triangle) at the bottom right of the video player and choose the subtitle you want.

  • Again, wonderful. :3

Now... This is the prologue to the War of Succession, then? Has the troupe made a War of Austrian Succession video?

... *really wants to see Prussia WIN*

  • Thank you for translating this video also ~!

keep up the good work :3
