In his reply to Dr. Mehr Khatami said, that certain passages of Quran was used by Ali (Mohammad's cousin & son-in-law) to provide protection to the Iranians who were Zoroastrian after the fall of Iran to the Moslem Arabs. Aryamehr I'm not saying that the current goverment in Iran is perfect but another revulotion or anything like that would mean disaster for the Iranian nation. I say that one should not try to harm the calm and stability of the goverment in Iran, even if they are the best out there they are a million times better than foereigners out there who just want to lay their hand on the oil. why is it that you accuse him of lying? The Iranian shia goverment are not against the zoroastrians and if there are some issues than they will be solved in the time to come. In Iran most of the traditions are zoroastrian ones and they celebrate Noruz, whích is no way in hell an arabic or islamic tradition.
