Incubus has and never will "sell out." They make whatever music they want and try new things, and people just get upset because it's not what they want to hear. I think falling to fan pressure and staying with a particular sound instead of just doing what you love and have fun with is selling out, if anything.

I dont understand why they arent running a reverb through the snare live...... it makes the sound of the song!.... that massive reverb on the snare sounds fucking awesome on the album...

@timendan but the drums are acoustic, and the natural sound of drums played live is always better without too many effects that are hard to balance in a live performance.

Plus, it really isn't at all needed to stress to get live performances to sound as close to the record as possible because it would take away the uniqueness of each moment... That's why I can't stand Linkin Park live shows. :D
