The relationship between solar irradiance & temps is really just begining to be understood. This is not sunspots. This irradiance shows great correlation to temp swings so far. Also water vapor has greater impact on warming than CO2. This is what was explained to me to account for the last decades lack of warming. This raises questions in my mind. Do we really understand this. If I am missing something please let me know. I want to understand this better.
So how could CO2 remain the same? Also the cooling period from early 40's to mid 70's. The explination I got for rising CO2 but cooling temps was sulfate aerosols. Source of these aerosols supposedly anthroprogenic. Primarily from burning coal. This also produces black soot particles which absorb & radiate heat. Another source offered is volcano eruptions emiting sulfate particles. The problem with that one is there have been a steady rate of volcano eruptions before that time & since.
Gore & GW scientists claim CO2 levels will take the amplification to dangerous levels because of human intervention alone. I have had it claimed to me that CO2 level would still be at 280 ppm if it weren't for human intervention. My problem with that is according to the theory as the temps rise the ocean releases GHG's without man. Also the baseline of 280ppm is from 1750. I think we would all agree the animal population has increased dramatically since then. Human pop. has exploded since then.

The theory of ice core data as I understand it that solar influence begins a temp change but too weak to continue enough warming on its own to move from an ice age period. GHG's amplify the process to provide necessary warming.

Humans have been around for along time with a population of about from 200 to 500 million for the last few thousand years subject to natures rules (plague, famine, etc). Around the 19th C we hit 1 billion, start of 20th C less than 2 billion, then over last 100years just short of 7 BILLION!! in the last 100 years. Although i understand climate change, population is the main problem we face IMO.

No, as far as population goes all i am saying is it is not sustainable, we are setting ourselves up for a fall - either nature or war will get our numbers back down to a sustainable level. The relationship between solar irradiance & temps is really just begining to be understood. This is not sunspots. This irradiance shows great correlation to temp swings so far. Also water vapor has greater impact on warming than CO2. This is what was explained to me to account for the last decades lack of warming. This raises questions in my mind. Do we really understand this. If I am missing something please let me know. I want to understand this better.

So how could CO2 remain the same? Also the cooling period from early 40's to mid 70's. The explination I got for rising CO2 but cooling temps was sulfate aerosols. Source of these aerosols supposedly anthroprogenic. Primarily from burning coal. This also produces black soot particles which absorb & radiate heat. Another source offered is volcano eruptions emiting sulfate particles. The problem with that one is there have been a steady rate of volcano eruptions before that time & since.

Gore & GW scientists claim CO2 levels will take the amplification to dangerous levels because of human intervention alone. I have had it claimed to me that CO2 level would still be at 280 ppm if it weren't for human intervention. My problem with that is according to the theory as the temps rise the ocean releases GHG's without man. Also the baseline of 280ppm is from 1750. I think we would all agree the animal population has increased dramatically since then. Human pop. has exploded since then.

078691. You can't base an opinion on wiki. I have seen for myself & many others regard it as very unreliable. My daughters school won't let her reference anything from wiki on a paper because of that. I have looked into the science for myself. The theory of ice core data as I understand it that solar influence begins a temp change but too weak to continue enough warming on its own to move from an ice age period. GHG's amplify the process to provide necessary warming.

The scientists that attended this conference were the ones that are part of this whole "global warming" scam, .i.e. David Suzuki. Scientists that oppose this scam were denied entrance. I heard that they organized their own conference.
