That is just pure AWESOMENESS! Gets me all excited and motivated. It inspires me to become better and better at animation. I guess one knows that he/she is a born animator if they get even more excited about animation than about xmas presents, haha. I'm a 2D/3D Animation student in the fourth semester. it's a song called Monsters by the band Matchbook Romance off their cd Voices. It's a great cd that i really recommend. but im pretty sure the band broke up about a year ago, but great cd anyways. and glad u liked the reel.

of crouse he didnt do this all by himself lol but as long as he works on anything in each of these scenes hes allowed to put it in his demo reel. our instructor showed us this reel in our class and we all think this guys doing great! keep up the awesome work!

u didnt make most of those... for example, look at 1:32, thats a cinematic from the XMEN legends 2 game.

and some of the snow shooting scenes are from TIME SPLINTERS.

u dont actually know what youre talking about. the cinematics u think is xmen legends 2 is actually marvel ultimate alliance. and the snow is from the trailer for halo wars. i worked on everything in compiled into this sequence while at blur studio.

if you use maya you dont need other 3d programs i use 3ds max but i am leran maya too

yeah 3ds max in animation is a little down but in render and modeling is very fast

we rendered everything using 3dsmax. most of the animation was done in max, but a couple were done in XSI.

i learned on maya and its my preferred choice. but we don't use it for anything here at blur.
