One thing I still don't really get the point of is widescreen. You lose 2 huge chunks of the screen when viewing in widescreen format because the top and bottom of the frames have to be chopped off. Why don't manufacturers make huge 4:5 flatscreen TVs/monitors so we can see all of the frame?
