    Kathy

  • hey Kathy, you should check out Pagan Planet on stickam

  • You have no power over me. You only bind yourself.

  • You certainly have a viewer from Egypt...I am embarrassed to admit my ignorance about Wiccan belief but I am happy to be enlightened...Thus far it sounds like a female celebrating, naturally peaceful religion. And I noticed you are a Gemini, do you believe in astrology?

  • Yes, I'm a gemini/cancer cusp. I'm not very well versed in astrology, but I do believe in it.

  • Oops I posted twice I need to get used to this process.. One interesting fact is that Gerald Brosseau Gardner is also a Gemini, and you are ruled by Mercury and the Moon, a very brilliant and influential individual...K I'm done

  • Awesome. Thanks

  • You certainly have a viewer from Egypt...I am embarrassed to admit my ignorance about Wiccan belief but I am happy to be enlightened...Thus far it sounds like a female celebrating, naturally peaceful religion.

  • I'm glad there are ppl who would do this. If I had a webcam then, I would too!! Thank You for your support, Blessed Be.

  • would you email me telling me your thoughts on how the earth was formed!!!.... thank you

  • I'm a May Day baby!!! I found your videos through TipToeChick. Trying to learn all I can on Wicca, it's beautiful! You have alot of knowledge and I can't wait to learn more from you :)

  • I am from Ecuador and with this video I learned to pronounce the Sabbats correctly...

  • Nice to know someone's learning.

  • Wiccan is very fluffy and universalist.

  • Fluffy I disagree with, universalist, yes.

  • I think by "fluffy" he means the beliefs varie from individual to individual, like the you explained "There is no central belief on the afterlife." Many people see neo-paganism as an extention of the hippie movement of the late 60s. That's why they say "fluffy."

  • Neo Paganism covers a wide range of religions and Wicca covers a wide range of traditions. This very video is one of the core beliefs of Wicca.

  • Do you consider yourself "Neo-Wicca?" I say this because Neo-Wicca is more focused on an archetypal Goddess figure, a *lot* of New Age philosophy, and it's members freely "borrow" ideology from wherever they want. I think all of the Wicca videos here on youtube are technically "Neo-Wicca."

  • Modern Wicca is a term I use more. I follow the 13 Pricniples of Wiccan Belief, but I don't constrain myself to European Witchcraft. I don't follow the 161 Laws.

  • Maybe I should rephrase that. What is the Wiccan belief of the afterlife?

  • There is no central belief on the afterlife. It varies.

  • Blessings sister and thank you for a wonderful job.

  • Just speaking from the heart. I want to encourage more Pagans to share their experiences.

  • I have a question. What do Wiccan believe happens to a person after they die?

  • It varies. There is not one set belief on this issue. Some believe they go to the spiritual world called Summerland or Asgard. Others believe in reincarnation in one way shape or form. Others are Animists which means they believe that your spiritual energy is dispersed throughout Nature. The great part about Wicca is the lack of dogma about those things we don't quite understand yet.

  • the way you pronouinced Sabbat and the Sabbats

is that how you pronounce them?

cause i have a habit of pronouncing things the way i see them spelt

like Sab - Bat is how i pronounce it i was curious am i pronouncing it right or wrong?

    also love the video

  • Some people say SAH-bat, some people say sa-BAT with the short A sound. I think that the word comes from a few different backgrounds. The Jews have Shabat and the Christians have the Sabbath. I think pronunciations can differ. You say tomato I say to-mah-to.

  • The Hebrew sha-BAT became the Xian SAB-bath, when everything else Xian was deigned from the Jewish roots. I say SAH-bat, and there is an East Coast - West Coast thing here in America. East Coast AH-tha-me and West Coast a-THA-me. The word is 'sabbat', and the other one is 'esbat'. Both written correctly, and both open to slaughtering with local dialects.

  • Yeah I'm kind new on Wiccan and would love to know more!

  • Keep watching my vids and look at my favorites for alot of other good Pagan channels on You tube. Lots of good info. Especially ShadowCat and Magick TV for informational vids.

  • Looking foward for your vids

  • The only one who understand what you say is people who already are wicca, to much information and you talk to fast. But i can mention one intrsting thing you said JUL ... in sweden we say jul instead of christmas.

  • I'm sorry if I talked to fast for you. If you need me to elaborate feel free to message me and ask a question. The celtic spelling is Yule, but I didn't know that in Sweden that they still referred to Christmas as Jul. I've never had the pleasure of being in Sweden. Blessed Be.

  • Thank you! Email me from my site, if u like!

Check out my "Yule Meditation" (on Norm's Corner) for the history of so-called "Christmas Customs"!

  • As a practicing Witch for over 22 years (!), i must say that you did a GREAT job! Visit my site for TONS of info

    on this subject! wwwDOTwitchfactsDOTnet

  • Its so nice to hear words of encouragement from such astute Witches. It really means alot to me. Thanks. Blessed Be. BTW I found your site really helpful. I have a list of sites I recommend to newbs. I'll be sure to add yours.

  • You hit the nail on the head! Nice factual information. I am Wiccan/Pagan, and I have one question. You about the Sabbats and the Esbats. Are you Pagan/Wiccan too?

  • I have been Wiccan for about 8 years now. I have studied many different forms of Paganism and I am fascinated by the similarities in ritual and belief throghout the ancient Pagan world. My idea of Wicca is different than alot of peoples. Because I don't believe all your beliefs have to be based on Northern European Pagans.

  • Wow! That's great. I haven't finished my year and a day yet, but I know alot about some parts. I don't believe the beliefs have to based on Northern European Pagans either. I love learning about Paganism/Wicca and I can't wait to finish my year and a day!

  • I am always glad to hear of new Witchlings that can find use of the info that I post. If you have any ?'s feel free to ask.
