  • Also these comments about lack of water and heat exhaustion are completely unfounded. There was water everywhere, and the initial game in the Forrest was over quickly. heat casualties are inevitable in Florida and they are something taken very seriously by the company.Ive dealt with them for four years

  • Blackjack was a clusterfuck to be sure, but settle down. The companiws involved with screwing everything up arent around anymore and the main company is still the best in the south east.

  • Operation Blackjack was one of the most criminally mismanaged and deceptive airsoft events I have ever had the misfortune to attend.

They charged well over a hundred dollars to attend but promised a promo pack of gear well in excess of that. We got a coin and (most of us) a T-shirt.

Instead of playing in the town, we were trucked, after nearly two hours in the sun in full gear, into ankle-deep sand in the woods. After another hour went by, we got the start signal.

  • Within minutes players began falling out from a combination of heat, exertion, nearly NO available water, and standing around without shade for over two hours.

As prostrate players were brought or carried into headquarters by the dozen, event organizers made a conscious decision NOT to involve outside emergency medical services, despite a few of the victims being in advanced stages of heat exhaustion and dehydration.

  • Organizers also failed to suspend play in the woods thus ensuring a constant supply of heat casualties which continued until the afternoon when play was finally moved to the city where there was shade and the ground was firmer.

After the first day, many players left and did not return.

After-action forums reflected the anger and disgust over the misrepresentation, mismanagement and arguably criminal negligence that defined this event. However, after three days all comments were DELETED.
