nope-i am using a multi in Trilian where i assign a different articlation to each of the 8 parts. Part 1 is the regulatr sustain sound, part 2 is the stactatto sound, part 3 is the short gliss, part 4 are the long fx slides etc.
I record the basstrack by playing the bassline using part1.
Then i go into the editor in Logic and assign certain notes in the track to the other parts so i get the glisses and slides only on certain notes.

Cool sounds/visuals. I just got Trilian yesterday. It is ridiculous. I've never heard virtual bass sound this good. As a $99 upgrade from Trilogy, it's got to be one of the deals of all time. The vibe and playability of some of the patches completely blows me away.
This is so so awesome, man! I don't know anything from Jaco himself, what CD's/songs you can recommend from him that also have this same vibe?

Basses are great - naturally! But the drums/percussion are very nice too. Is it Stylus playing?...

@zenstories
yes the grooves are coming from Stylus RMX-a suite from the Liquid grooves Expansion. Its part of the Stylus RMX Complete Bundle.
Great stuff for fusiontype music.
