There is rather reliable way for kick boxer with good defence to win over boxer, namely by kicking boexer's legs. It just looked chaotic because Bonjasky opted to avoid standing at arm's reach for an exchange of punches. Wise move considering Botha's limited arsenal of techniques, but it did make the fight look like a mess.

Bonjasky won by miles, but you got to give Botha credit for not getting knocked out despite of his bad blocking.
