Standing on the corner protesting is making the citizenship aware of the problem. No, not the answer, but it brings it to the fore front. And we are attending rallies, town halls, speeches etc that our elected representatives are at. We are working on campaigns, making phone calls, and very active in our community. Corporations take advantage of all of us. And foreign policy.... sux. Supporting illegal aliens is taxation without representation. The citizens have voiced their displeasure.

Sorry, but to me the eyesore is the hundreds of day laborers hanging out on the corner. Working and not paying taxes. Some times getting injured on the job and their employers, who are taking advantage of them and us, not having workers comp as they should. The guys drinking in public and at times the whiff of marijuana in the air. Throwing the trash in the street, not having the respect to conform to the society of The United States. Not caring about how others look upon their drunken actions.

At one place we followed some into the woods and found it not only trashed out in the woods, but old camp fire areas, feces, condoms and just junk every where.
