  • the new 2012 hp envy 15 and 17 sound better then all of the asus range n series. it also performance much more richer music then the dell xps 15 and 17

  • Asus N73q definitely sounded better on this comparison.

  • you havent enabled the beats audio dude

  • i would prefer the asus g53sw, more power on the graphics, and cost the same or less

  • YOU HAVENT ENABLED THE BEATS AUDIO ON THE HP COMPUTER.... PRESS FN+B THEN THE BEATS AUDIO WILL BE ENABLED.... THIS IS PROVEN WHEN YOU SEE A BEATS LOGO APPEAR ON YOUR HP LAPTOP

  • @jamaul1111 Thank you so much, I was wondering why my speakers changed and got quiet, I must have hit Fn+b by accident I wasn't even aware of this feature, was about to take my Laptop back to the store lmao.

  • Asus sounds way better and heavier.. I wonder if it has a B&O speakers, rather than just soundcard-only..

  • how the hell did you get all that views/?

  • mate its a soundcard not the speakers in the laptop you have to use external speaker or a headset to get the best sound quality plus i also seen a comment saying that the asus is about 4 times louder ye it might be clearer probz not

  • its an hp envy with a beats soundcard. not an hp beats.

  • You should change the title, cause that is the HP envy 15. The Hp "Beats" sounds more like the limited edition dr dre version of it, which is ACTUALLY called beats and MADE entirely for music. You deceived those who actually knew what the did, and you're misguiding those who are doing some initial research. This isn't a music centric device, like I said, its the limited edition dr dre model you should be using as comparison. just saying.

  • @Tu51ndBl4d3 the beats edition is the same hardware set, just with different branding for marketting purposes. only hardware difference is the logos and the red backlit keyboard.

  • @Tu51ndBl4d3

i don't quite understand what you are saying...are you saying the HP Envy which the video author called HP "beats" is NOT the Dr. Dre. limited edition?

And that the HP Envy is just a typical laptop, nothing special in the speakers?

the Asus sounds better than the HP...

  • What does the N73Jq cost in the US ?

  • I would recommend ASUS. In my comparison, ASUS laptop sounds 4 times louder than HP.

In addition, ASUS sounds very clear and LIVE while HP sounds very vague Bass.

FROM HP WITH BEATS AUDIO, I COULD "BARELY" HEAR THE BOMBING SOUND, PLAYING CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS.

  • Also, for Beats Audio on HP only has two selections you can choose, unless you customize the Beats Audio system. Asus has many selection.

Let me conclude it, if anyone wants to hear good sound through their headphone then buy HP with Beats. But if someone wants to listen naturally or from external speaker on the laptop itself, then buy ASUS with Sonic Master.

what matters with HP is just the sound card with Beats Audio technology not the hardware speaker.

    ASUS has B&O speaker. different!

  • HP's Beats Audio makes difference if someone listens to songs by using headphone, not just from the speaker on the laptop. But Asus laptop makes good and loud enough sound just from laptop itself. it is amazing.

  • Someone said, we can make the sound louder with Beats Audio Equalizer. But just very tiny difference. I tried comparison with those two laptops. Beats Audio is more likely for HP's laptop marketing and advertising strategy. it is also far from making good sound. Bass sound is okay. but what i would do is to buy 50 dollor cost headphone and plug it into HP laptop to listen to song.

  • I am buying the ASUS N73JQ-XT1 with Intel Core i7-740QM 1.73GHz, 4GB DDR3, 750GB HDD, GT 425m 1gb...

A friend of mine already got one from TigerDirect and it OWNS. Seriously I needed a new gaming laptop to replace my old Lenovo gamer and this is the one to do it!

IT FRIGGIN COOKS...while looking insanely gorgeous at the same time!

  • Boom Shaka Laka!!!! Asus is beast!

  • That's not a song you play with beats by dre

  • You can make HP beats louder and clearer using the equalizer.

  • I'm getting the 14-inch version of that Asus with the same speaker setup. Really glad to hear it's a really quality speaker.

  • @vaxick did you have n43jq with core i7 ? can you say how it works and performance ? is hot ? i want to buy n43

  • N73 sounds awesome

  • what song are you using?

  • Gentlemen, when you want to test the sound quality do not touch the mic on the recording unit at least. What is the horrible clicking sound? Did you clean the mic during your recording?

  • is that a N73 production model? I've looking for a N73JQ with a flushed screen, but all i see are N73 models are bezeled screen. Can you confirm? I've been waiting for this laptop for 4 months

  • this video looks distorted...why do the palm rests look ridiculously long for no reason? lol

  • you sir, are an idiot.

  • Are you compare who is louder? or the Sound Quality? hahahahaha, i think you dun know SQ is abt...

  • @alexchang1014 The Asus is far superior from the get go.. this is an unfair comparison.

  • SH... beats out put is design for in ear ntertainment... internal speaker?? you stupid... want a big speaker system go get external speaker for good sound quality !
