I like new york but everything is the same. And to be fair sky scrapers only look good on the horizon when you get up close they're pretty dissapointing to look at. London has much more creative and historic architecture than new york

What a horrible vision for the future, what the hell is happening to architecture. We used to be able to produce magnificent buildings filled with character and sculpture, now they're pre-fabricated boxes of steel and concrete with random shapes stuck to the side! I mean that building at 0:20 seconds is just horrendous! No doubt it's already built, eurgh!

They say that we have already reached the limit of how high buildings can go, i watched a programme about future buildings in all major cities like London, New York etc, they say if we want to go higher then we will have to start pressurising the highest floors, like how we pressurise air liners. not bad projects. i see so much potential in london. the bishopsgate tower is awesome. they should expand canary wharf with alot more skyscrapers to make it manhattan-ish. and they should look beyond just this area, the city and croydon to erect supertalls. i wish london luck

why does london have to look like manhattan? it is not new york, it is london. i like some of the skyscrapers being built, i look foward to visiting the shard london bridge as i live near london, but trust me, the city is not the most suitable place for multiple supertall skyscrapers. the streets are still laid out like they were in the medievil times ffs.

canary wharf is suitable only because about just 20 years ago it was a derelict dump.

they are only building 5-6 skyscrapers in london, the rest will be built elsewhere and mostly canary wharf which was a derelict site b4 the finance district was relocated there. london will have to change, as it did with victorian, georgian and gothic influences.
