Saddam was executed because he was a horrible leader. he killed people who didn't agree with him or liked him or voted for him. he gassed the Kurds (another race from Iraq) and we also thought that he was building nuclear weapons but we figured out that Israel destroy Iraq's nuclear power plants in the 80s :)
