WOW, this is wicked! I didn't see this mentioned in the comments below, but this is a ska version of the original Desmond Dekker song (which is awesome!). Gr8 job Bodysnatchers!
I saw the Bodysnatchers so many times! I was 16 years old and had such a bad crush on Sarah-Jane! Rhoda is one of the nicest people in music, and still great seeing her live now
Nope, they (or at least most of them) became the Belle Stars. I'll leave it up to you to determine whether that's a better or worse fate than becoming Bananarama...
That's my favorite, too. I saw the film "Dance Craze" in a theater in Seattle in 1981. Finding a copy of it -- dvd or video -- is almost impossible now. I'd love to see it all the way through. Those of you posting these outtakes -- where are you finding them? Do you have the film? Any ideas how to track one down?
Yeah I am positive I saw "Dance Craze" in late 1981 in the L.A. area, but IMDB states that it didn't premiere in the States until April 1982, for some reason.
is there anything sexier than girls w/ guitars?!?!
