She is one of the great Strauss interpreters. Her Marschallin will go down in history. I saw this production live and wept several times throughout the opera. Brava!

@pinkbeachloverable They broadcast the Met opera in High Def in multiplexes around the country. We saw it last winter on a Saturday afternoon. It was amazing—we brought our own champagne. You can also watch online via the Met in HD player.
