It's pretty hard to make a game multiplayer, especially when you have quests in which you have to get a certain item that can't be traded, this requires really much coding, but is poss. And it's poss to create your own character too, I already saw games with own characters (you can easily switch between 3rd and 1st person.

It's not, they deleted all the guns, and use other textures and models, and they add much things like side scrolling, rpg, moviecube (ingame recorder)

i love sandbox ^^ i recommended it to my friend so we can use it to make a map layout for a game were planning. :D all the others are way to complex ^^ also your right about kids loving the drag and drop.

someting to improve: more charicter modles like cats dogs, more tree types, ect.

You can change the graphics to make your pc have a little less work, and maybe it'll lagg less then 2 (idk if it laggs, but I think it does when your pc has 2 work 100%)

There is a program that does just what I said: It's called Real Landscaping by ideaspectrum. You can walk around in a 3d world and see all your friends pictures laying around. But they just sit there static. The program was not mean to be a game. So you can't interact with the pictures and the pictures won't walk or animate. So please PSA, won't you incorporate this feature? everything in the 3d world would be real pictures instead of complex 3d modeling!

Yes. I agree that PAS is awesome. But where's the super fun capability of working with Real Pictures? you can use real digital pictures, take the background off of the animation sequences or frames, save them as a .png, import it to PAS as either a playable character or an interactive enemy. This would be like the Mortal Kombat approach but in 3D. Imagine how fun you walk past a real tree you took a picture of or your grandma doing the hula dance (huh?) well u get the picture!

on version 2.2.0 i can set graphics to ultimate and geme runs minimal on 130 fps

on version 2.5.0 i set graphicst to ultimate and max fps is 5

i had this before but i had to erase everything on my computer it was great but felt like it had some downfalls the way to make npc was confusing or at least for me also when i tested my maps it was really slow but it was very easy to use besides that.

Dude, you serously need to make this a multiplayer game, so that peoble can download the client + a server, they can run on there computer, so other peoble whit the client can connect to them..! that would be so freaking nice!

As a note I have tried 3D Game Studio as well, just noticed you mention it in your profile. That engine has some serious problems, especially how it handles brushes. And you have to pay for 3D Game Studio, and a decent chunk just to get some of the source, and I don't think they give full source. I really wasn't that impressed though it has a cool demo map.

yes i agree with you on this but oh well... i dont use the brushes or its bsp capabilities, but so far its doing good for me with just the ABT... and my following line will make my first post redundant.. but, its not the engine, its what u do with it.. lol, yes, i am aware that i just contradicted myself...

It is true that some people have done some really cool stuff with an engine, but in the end you are limited by the capabilities of the engine, especially when you don't have the full source. You are getting what they want you to have. Why put yourself through doing more work for less results? I do actually like your church/building structure. Also your land where you have the 3GS guy walk around could be done in a half hour tops in SB. I do hope your project goes well. Good luck.

not with gs, thats y i use the engine.. the coding language is powerful enough for me to remake anything that comes to mind, you are not limited.. noones project looks the same... in terms of coding...

That is so limited... This allows more scripting and you can create a larger variety of games. Like the Far Cry 2 editor will only be a Far Cry 2 map.
