Clear flexible tube likely. When he "picks up the tube he is using modified "d-lites" to illuminate the tube.

there is no tube..... he is using a double laser in his hands and when he seems to brake one end off he just puts his thumb over the one end of the laser and has another laser he activates in his hand that "brakes" off the laser look at his thumbs when the laser is broken! no tubes used at all!
