Hey that's the city I was born in, Shreveport, Louisiana LOL!! I live in Houston, Texas now but everytime I go home, I'm proud of the progress of growth Shreveport has gained the past 10 years.

Yes, some parts of downtown shreveport are really nice now, especially along the riverfront. But like most US downtowns, parts are still heavily neglected. But, yes, compared to years ago...downtown Shreveport is GREAT. The city is still trying to develop a downtown entertainment district. We'll keep our fingers crossed!
