  • crime té bonne!part toi un groupe de musique tu va faire la pias!

  • Amazing! You know - that really has a Norwegian sound to it too, especially when you're plucking the strings. It sounds like Norwegian folk music, as played with a Hardanger fiddle.

  • omg....bien faites!!!!!!...

  • Super !!! Des années que j'avais pas entendu !!

  • you sound like an amazing musician! I love how you canged up the song. Well done i loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dit moi don ca en francais ma belle

  • This reel is very popular in quebec, but it's a britain tune

  • I am looking to buy a new fiddle. Im still playing on the one i began on. It's a cheap sounding one with a real cold tone. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good warm sounding one like the one she's playing. Thanks

  • Bravo!!!!! I love it !!!!Cam BUjold NB Canada

  • that was great ,could you do the cajun fiddle slow like that so i could learn that also plzzzzzzzzzz

  • Wow that good. I think I'll leave that one alone though lol. How does one put on an extra string? Are you drilling in another hole or how. Very cool style!

  • @phillaneseventhirty Its a 5 String Fiddle, you have to buy a 5 string fiddle. The neck is slighly wider to accommodate the 5th string with messing with your muscle memory, and the ribs might be taller as well. Its a specially made instrument.

  • Thankyou Jennilee I kinda figured that but some people like to expeirment . Well done on that cajun fiddle bit BTW

  • Excellent instruction and rendition. I really like that low A on this tune too. It gives a nice bottom end to the open A tuning. Pierre learned the tune, like many fiddlers today, from the playing of Ti-Jean Carignan. I was with Pierre on the tour where he recorded it. One of my favourite pieces and you did it justice, darlin'.

  • Wow...thank you so much! This is a great video and the explanation makes me want to give it a try.

  • MAGNIFIQUE !!!!!!!! I love it !!!!!!

  • i think you did this one last year at Leaf when you did a fiddle workshop with another band i can't think of right now...do you have a recorded version of Congress Reel?
