FYI to the people who like this better than the wcpaeb version, neo maya was a pseudonym for the lead singer of the wcpaeb. so in a way, this is "their" version, too.
WCPAEB are, like Thirteenth Floor Elevators, one of the most overrated acts of the 60s...but they did provide good fodder for more talented bands to chew over and improve upon...and this is one, STUPENDOUS. I actually like a couple of songs from The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, but I agree that Neo Maya definitely did this song better for sure.
WCPAEB.... Have you ever heard their song "A Child's Guide To Good & Evil"?.... not too bad.
