Not to flame or troll or anything, but how would jagex integrate these into the game? Lances, huge, long weapons used during the medeivil times to joust they were two yards long or even longer and were usually made from wood to break upon impact but still inflicting dammage, thats why they kept several lances for the several rounds of jousting, maybe if they integrated it into range and your character charged the lance at the enemy and then grabbed another one with a reloading period...?

I know you mentioned it at the end of the video, and I watched the Devil May Cry video you posted to prove your point, but still - lances were created soley for use on horseback. They're not designed to be used in close quarters fighting like you're suggesting. Tbh, anyone weilding one would look like a complete idiot. Unless they happened to be on a horse.

the lance is a good idea. Also, if anyone has played soul calibur 3, in the custom characters one of the classes gives a character a lance and its a very powerful weapon. Just like the stats state, it can crush and stab. Brill idea

for anyone who didn't get it, think of a foot-lance more like a hasta without the end. it was a crush/stabbing weapon which wasn't widely used because the user needed to be very very VERY strong to wield it, and then use it right. hence why it's more common as a mounted weapon

Great job micah. The thing is a lance has a wider "spear" past the hilt, then decreases as it goes up. So if you were to change it, make the "spear" wider, wide enough to surpass the hilt.

nice but if this would be a weapon heres a tip. Try 2 make a video with a way to mount on a horse with it. i wish we could use horses in runescape. it could be the substitute for run or the more advanced way to get places fast without teleing

i think the way you hold the lance is like upside down on the ground. the point on the ground like a cane. and when your fighting you liek swing it over the back of your shoulder to hit.
