outstanding......remember buying the crossing the day it came out and it's still as fresh today as it was back then and as a 100% scotsman this stirs my soul.........one of the greatest bands of all time
U2 were great. Big Country were great. Don't see the need for comparisons. I will say, however, that Stuart was a musical genius and it breaks my heart that they didn't get the world-wide recognition that they deserved. Love, worship and adore you forever Stuart!
I saw them on Thursday past and they did this song. I have to say Mike Peters really did do it justice. Such a great, great band, arguably the most underrated British band of the last 30 years.
One of if not the best live version of this song that I have ever heard. This band is beyond brilliant.I have said it before but it bares repeating, they should have become as big a band as U2.
Nevermind "best live version of this song," -- may be the best live version of any song as far as I'm concerned! It's a shame that Big Country was cast aside as a one hit wonder in North America...I don't know what the hell the problem was here, but fellow guitar players were the only ones who could appreciate their work. For the casual fan in the 80's it was on to the next gimicky new wave band with funny hair.
Di una bellezza commovente. L'unico rimpianto non averti mai visto dal vivo

this band was pure genius, and not just stuart-- mark brzaezsiki is one of the alltime baddest-ass drummers, and this band let him play
