Whenever I feel like spending the whole day working on it, I may make a Lego reenactment of that scene. I haven't done one of those in a while.

@DarthZillasaurus Too bad Anakin didn't know it; then I wouldn't have to fast-forward through all his 'romance' scenes with Padme in AotC and RotS. ;)

@DavinSunrider 'Tis Master Lucas's fault. Force Dialogue (especially the romantic variation) isn't his strongest point. :P Do not blame the Chosen One. In fact, I've been contemplating the idea of attempting to persuade you to rewrite the PT (to fit with your fabulous retelling of the OT). You will then have a chance to present Anakin Skywakler as he should have been. Romantic dialogue/scenes and all.

@DarthZillasaurus I've thought about doing something similar; I don't know if they'd fit canon with my other stories, but I have considered a complete rewrite of the prequels to make them fit in better with the OT, if only for my own satisfaction. This sounds horribly egotistical, but I don't think George really 'gets' Anakin/Vader, or else he wouldn't have had him do some of the stuff he does in the prequels.

@DavinSunrider That my bearded friend, is a pleasant surprise. I have a limited word count here, so I'll be brief. The PT is begging to be rewritten by you. I think you're the right person for it, because you've done a fantastic job with your other stories, including your own version of the OT. I already saw signs of the Anakin we should have had in OMS. Your last statement about GL is NOT egotistical, for reasons I'll have to list in a proper message.
