Hi Robin! I have a question ;)

My friend is getting her acrylics done and I will be doing a design for her at home. but I never worked on acrylics before.

Do I need to put a base coat on before I start putting polish on them? Or do I go straight for the polish? I know for arcylic paints I need some polish underneath, But im not sure if I need anything for regular polish. Thank you!! ;)

So, u wipe ur brush while using it, but not with water? U don't use water in between the colors!? Huh, maybe that's what I've been doing wrong all my life! Tell me if I'm right, please? That design is just BEAUTIFUL!!!

@Akennalady well...yes...but, eventually it kind of gets to where you have to clean it....maybe after 20 to 30 wipes..then i just clean it out and then start again............i work SO FAST that i can wipe, paint, wipe paint, wipe, paint and the paint isnt dry so it wipes mostly all away...but if i need a clear bright vibrant white, i "clean in water" then wipe,, then do a clean white, then wipe, then go to greeen, then wipe, then black, then wipe, etc. etc etc

@Akennalady i want to be clear....i never go from black to white..if i am doing a clean white...i wash the black off first...but if i am going from yellow to red to orange to red to yellow to red to orange, i just wipe wipe wipe wipe...then CLEAN then i go to white. its kind of ............i you want your brush clean for highlights and vibrant colors..that insists you clean out your brush. i will do more videos saying "wipe" "wipe" so you can 'feel' it better :D <3<3

Thanks so much for the answer, I really always use water, even with the same color, but when I so you, I thought, "I should try her technique". So soon I'm gonna try that & don't worry, I won't go from black to white without cleaning it with water! Thanks a lot! ;)
