@auddiedoo Never really thought about it like that, but NJ does kind of remind me of what I think Nirvana would be doing if they were still around. Some of the noisier bands out there seem inspired by them, at least their more punk-influenced stuff.

@MarkHarrellJr Sorry but I strongly disagree with your opinion. The way he sings (not screams) is in a league of it's own. Completely unique, and they also fuck with the EQ of his voice on the recordings to get a certain unique sound. You can't possibly compare his "melodic hardcore-trying-to-sing-and-sc­ream" to lets say Title fight, Of mice and men, A day to remember, haste the day, etc. The list goes on. But I tried to give you diverse examples of bands that sing and scream
