The problem with what you said is that sometimes individuals will be put into a stereotype and given characteristics that they do not have. For instance, I have a garden with over 1,000 square feet, I like Country music, and I like to fish. But I am one of the smartest people you will ever meet, and I am not attracted to any cousins of mine. Furthermore, Kentucky is infamous for allowing first cousin marriages, but actually 26 out of 50 states have no laws against it.
I agree here. I get stereotyped a lot for a number of reasons. Because I am fat people think I am lazy when that is not true. Because I am Mexican, people think I speak spanish and am an illegal alien, and that is not true. But sometimes even I have to admit, those are typically true, about 90% of the time. I just learned to ignore those who stereotype, because I know they're wrong and so do those who actually know me.

As far as I am concerned being Politically Correct has gone to far. While I understand some of the ideas behind it I don't think its always the best decision. The 10 commandments is one of the things I don't agree with especially since majority of them says how to be a good person. What was up with that deal like 5 or 6 years ago with the guy trying to get "In God We Trust" removed from our money? Its about like anything else, someone else is trying to make decisons for everyone else.

You have two issues here: 1. political correctness 2. the separation of church and state. I have no love for 1, but much love for 2. Hi guys, i don't live in the USA - i live in the UK and even over here in England there are loads of different ways to say types of holiday. A main point in the UK is racial incidents. It's getting to the point where people can't say the names of the colours of the rainbow without being called racist. I totally agree that political correctness has gone too far. why do people get mad if you say marry christmas to them? just because they dont celebrate it doesnt mean that they have to get bent out of shape when we do. As far as I am concerned being Politically Correct has gone to far. While I understand some of the ideas behind it I don't think its always the best decision. The 10 commandments is one of the things I don't agree with especially since majority of them says how to be a good person. What was up with that deal like 5 or 6 years ago with the guy trying to get "In God We Trust" removed from our money? Its about like anything else, someone else is trying to make decisons for everyone else.

Kel: I agree that some have taken "being PC" too far, but everything you mentioned isn't only political correctness, it's a strict adherence to a separation of church and state. The goal of "being PC" isn't to please, it's to respect. We as a country need to respect that there are many amongst us who don't hold the same religious views that we personally do. The things that you mentioned are merely examples of that.

You have two issues here: 1. political correctness 2. the separation of church and state. I have no love for 1, but much love for 2. The founding fathers were secularists who saw religion as a private matter not to be sanctioned by government. PC usually deals with things like censoring language in things such as 'Huckleberry Finn', because certain segments of the population might consider them offensive - this is a different matter , downright wrong, maybe even fascistic.

I live in Sweden so it was nice to see that you guys had the correct spelling and map ;) I can also tell you that the vipera berus is very common in Sweden now days. I usually spot a few every year in the spring the summer. They are spectacular animals and have many differnet colours varying from black to grey and even brown!

Hi guys, i don't live in the USA - i live in the UK and even over here in England there are loads of different ways to say types of holiday. A main point in the UK is racial incidents. It's getting to the point where people can't say the names of the colours of the rainbow without being called racist. The nursery ryhme 'Ba Ba Black sheep' is an example, kids now are being taught to say 'Ba Ba Rainbow sheep'. What is that all about? Nice to see interesting topics being debaited. Love the show.

Fantastic show as always guys!. The George/Dorothy skit was a hoot! I had wondered about the wild populations of Rosy Boas, how each group has their own unique coloring and markings - definitely has to be some inbreeding in those colonies, right? It's important to understand everyone has different views, the fact is that certain countrys have a primary religion and that should not be compromised for tourists/immigrints sake. I'm Catholic, but i wouldn't be offended if i went to Isreal at Christmas and heard no christmas carrols!
