Thank goodness all the scrapers have twin engines to push each other out of the mud. Anyway, these 657's pale compared to the Caterpillar 666B, widely regarded as the best scraper ever made. The 666B's 54-yard-capacity 'can' can easily outwork the 657's. Sadly, Caterpillar discontinued the 666B in 1979 but a few examples still exist in running condition. Maybe some 666B's will be restored to like-new condition and be displayed in museums or reused in construction, oil sands, and mines.
