Jason you do not get wet on Sheikra either, the water tubes are right on the bcak of the carriage. You only get wet if you stand underneath the ride watching where you get a big wave splashes over the side, Its a great ride, Im looking forward to trying out Manta when I get to visit again

Haha yeah I agree with you there. But I also think that Manta isn't one of the best roller coasters you will ever get on either. Plenty of better coasters very close by, including one in the same park.

no, you do not get wet. unlike sheikra @ busch gardens. manta doenst actually dip into the water. sheikra utilizes its "rooster tail" for show and also to slow the coaster down. but, jets hiddin in the water are timed to go off as the wing of manta dips near the water to give the appearance of splash, but in reality its all smoke and mirrors ;-)

I thought it was supposed to take you through aquariums and stuff...I havn't found a video yet that shows that.

after passing the lockers/employee greeter/height check, and enter the queue line for Manta, you go through a set of well themed "underwater" caves, which ends at a fork where the line splits into both loading areas. While in these caves, you pass wall after wall of aquarium with various sea life from rays to sharks, with one LARGE aquarium in about the middle with a massive number of rays. The queue is very similar in fashion to the way Dueling Dragons was built.

Duh, I'm not talking about the roller coaster submerging in water. I was talking about it going through tunnels with the rays, fish etc around you. I'm not that dumb...

Good idea, however, the ride isn't like that, but the line is an aquarium... Besides, the tunnel would have to be big, it would cost too much money, and besides, the ride is supposed to make you feel like you are flying...

And I never said you were dumb... I merely stated a reason that they could not do that, here are 3 more.

I don't think money would be a problem at all, themeparks have plenty of money put asside for new rides. They could have done something on this ride like in kraken where it goes through a tunnle, but added a few tanks between the rocks or something...or maybe they could have ended it in a tunnel with awuariums around you where it stops just before you go into the station

It is just as good as Tatsu. It is a B&M coaster. It is as good as any other B&M. The elements are essentially the same. However, I like how Tastu runs through the other elements before getting to the pretzel loop element. It kinda sets you up for that big moment.

Manta seems like a great ride and I love the water element/effect. This is a really pretty coaster.
