yea, all this is good, but they only are effective in and around the airports.

the incident that just happened in NY, from what i understand was 6 minutes after takeoff, which is more than 10 miles from the airport.

maybe they can add something to the airplane itself to project forward to warn birds that it is coming, like a get-out-of-the-way thing, sound, w/e.

the only time they need to turn that on is when taking off or landing, birds don't fly at 30,000 ft.
