  • Old timers unite! I'm 58 and have loved Robin Trower forever! Can this guy play? Thanks for this GREAT upload!!!!!!

  • Davy Pattison is Great !!

  • I'm pushing 60 here, and I'm a professional musician. I forgot how good this guy is. Beautiful feel for the slow stuff.

  • I've played Bass on that song with local bands many times. Se easy, but so much fun when you have a good guitar player.

  • I see they got that one guy from the Sopranos on drums.

  • THE Master blues rock guitarist. (With the possible exception of SRV of course). Gets better and better as he gets older.

  • I saw him last year, same band, except a different bass player, the singer was with montrose and michael schenker, he was excellent.

  • I love trower went to long misty daze tour in big D i was maybe 23 i am 52 now wow good times

  • why does everybody think it sounds like Jimi? Jimi invented the phaser, Robin took it to more hieights, no agrguement Robin was a gawd but actually all he did was take one Jimi invention and perfect it, I'n not saying this was bad on the comtrary it was brilliasnt, but keep in mind....1 Jimi invention

  • Robin is a true master and very under appreciated. No one has his style. No one can copy his musicality. Saw him recently in Houston for the 4 th time and he is better than ever. THE WHITE HENDRIX !

  • @69LUOISSSIMMIUS YEAH U R COMPLETELY RIGHT--I WAS THERE SINCE 1963---TODAYS ROCK IT S NON ESISTENT !!! PHECK-----THE 70 S WERE AMAZING AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH WE HAVE IN COMMON 69 MANAAANNNANANA IS IT HENDRIX AHAHAHAHAH

  • This is the closest person you will ever get to channeling Hendrix' sound and tone. I got to meet him back in 2000. What a cool guy!

  • AWESOME GREAT MAGNIFICENT-----CRANK TO ELELEVEN MAAAAANNNN

  • The drummer it too fat, the guitar player is too old, the singer can't see, and this song is too good!

  • damn... he can still channel hendrix.

  • another maestro

  • Wow! This is the real deal! Only 39K hits? Really?

  • You have got to be kidding me! 39k hits and some of todays SHIT gets millions....RIP Rock and Roll

  • @DYNORECORDINGS There is no justice in this world!

  • at the beginning bought all the lps, starting with (twice removed from yesterday), good to see that he is just as good, grab a copy of( twentieth century blues) superb!

  • God wishes he had a tone as good as Robin Trower.

  • so, one of you lead guitar freaks....former bass player here, help me out, can somebody tell me what Robin is using? EVERYTHING, guitars,amps,pedals,everything....help a nigga out, just kidding, I'm Jewish

  • People always try to compare artists, this man stands alone as one of the greats with his own style and anti-drug stance. I am proud to have been alive to see him live back in the day and glad he stayed alive so I can hear him now. Rock on Robin.

  • my generation,,,one of my main men!!! long live ROCK!!!!-W

  • love it!!!!!!!!!! 1 of the greats!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the white jimi hendrix fo' sure

  • Sittin in the garage with my friends smokin thai buds off the stick listening to Robin on the Fender Strat.. 1973 or 74.. this is what we listened to in high school or when we were supposed to be in school (lol) Life was great .it still is and so is Robin..I can't imagine comming of age with the shit music today that's the problem with our youth today ..30 years from now no one will remember Lady Gaga make that 10 years.. the music from the 60s,70s,80s will live forever

  • @69louism so fucking true!

  • @69louism My step-dad was born in 1916, and he went "gaga" over swing-era and big-band music. Elvis, Chuck Berry, ... even Beatles 1964, and he moaned about all the "shit music" (not quite his vocabulary) "our youth are listeng to". There WAS shit to be found back then,as now. Good from then, and since, is known to my son's friends. In HS I found good stuff from 1720s,30s,40,50s;1800s,10s,20s;1900s,10s,20s.There's good stuff today.Share our good stuff with"our youth today".goodisgood.

  • @69louism ...To Continue. When my older brother's son started playing Nirvana recordings, my brother at one point commented something like "this is hardly even music", and this from someone who grew up enjoying jazz, folk, various forms of rock. I had to laugh at the similarity with our step-dad.

I'm glad to be able to find these live recordings of Robin Trower, all the other music here, that the kids get a chance to hear them.

  • @69louism Your absolutely correct !!! , after 30 years of listening to Trower's tunes , i still get Goose Bumps and an instant High from his driving force . Ray in Pa

  • @69louism Hey man the 90s were good as well. The entire grunge movement for one. Also all the heavy doom bands like Sleep, Kyuss and such. I can understand people not liking the grunge movement but at least respect the modern day bands carrying on Sabbaths name.

  • @jsrnash12 Hey man , you have good taste Sleep. Kyuss+ most of the stuff Tee Pee puts out, awesome! Some of us oldsters only hear garbage like linkin park and nickelback, so please forgive some of the folks from my generation because thats what they think rock is today, They are unaware of the good shit.

  • @daddyrollingstone Ah good to hear. Im only 21 but Iisten to most music from 65-75. While lots of good stuff today those times were truly the spawn of it all. I dont blame anyone today though, the electric guitar and bass with high powered amplifiers/pedals were just created leading to all that music. Most people I know my age are listening to all electronic hip hop or that dubstep bullshit. Noone gives a fuck about rock and roll.

  • @jsrnash12 Also I have never heard teepee ill have to check them out.

  • @69louism Fuckin' oath, mate. Me and my mates are almost 50 and we still imbibe in our youth. Regular get-together's with great music, smooth pot, cold piss and our lovely ladies. Constantly winning the debate with my kids - that OUR music shits all over their crap!

  • @69louism Forgot to mention the best cuts of beef and the freshest seafood around . . . all sizzling on our BBQ as we fun in the sun. It's a fuckin' hard life Down Under!!!

  • Real rock. Today kids are you listening!

  • on a scale of 1 to 10 = 100

  • dios mio que pedazo de bestia ...todo un maestro..!!

  • real earthy and good for this 30 something female

  • Still Rockin'!

  • quand les anciens font du blues...ca decoiffe !!!

  • See Kiddies, THAT's How it's done! Not this muttering death metal stuff...

  • Taker's get the honey...

    Giver's sing the blues....

And that rhymes with Trower RULES!!!

  • Love Trower, Regardless of his connection to Hendrix, he is his own man. Go RT!

  • give Davy Pattison some kudos here also , its not easy to step into Dewars shoes , but Davy is a class act and always has been.

  • Браво маэстро!!!!

  • one of the most underated guitar players!!!!?!! of all time Just sit back and watch and here it all!!!

  • respect is all I have for this man......I'm a 49 year old metalhead, and it all comes back to talent like this. I got sick of all the classic rock, EXCEPT for this man.

  • I met Robin backstage in 1987, he is humble, decent, a real gentleman! When I complimented his awesome mastery of the guitar, his reply was, "I'm not really THAT good".

Robin, yes you are! NOBODY plays like you. I doubt there will ever be another like you.

  • If Y'all Like R.T. go to the TROWERPOWER website/Got all the L.P.'s (CD's) and other STUFF !!!

  • Yeahhh

  • @tommieparch dont overrate nirvana. They dont belong in that group you listed

  • @tommieparch sorry but, you should have "just been kidding" on the Stones too

  • @sirwob why should i have said (just kiddin ) on the Stones? there not legends or what? Your my age ,I guess your just not a R.S. fan ?...Tommy

  • @tommieparch they are legends yes but why, I'm not sure I'll ever understand

  • Yep, he still has the riffs. And he's into it. Never get old, it's all a state of mind. Geriatric rockers, ya gotta Love em!
