Malcolm McGrath has organized a beautiful and sober ceremony for many many years at UofT, to honor veterans, and especially UofT's contribution. Thank you, Malcolm.
This year, 2008, Will played at Kew Gardens in Toronto for the Veterans and John played the University of Toronto Ceremony. UofT Engineers visited the Soldiers' Tower by Hart House, copied out the names of 600 UofT graduates who had died in WWI and they filled Kings College Circle with 600 white crosses, each about 4' high, each with the name of one of those UofT grads who had died during WWI, John McCrae - writer of In Flanders' Fields - being one of the names on those crosses.
