But it's also very sad, the Prince's Tale and Harry summoning his parents with the Resurrection Stone made me shed a few tears. I highly recommend seeing it - a fitting end to a wonderful book series

@Nemeres Actually, it is heavily implied that one cannot disapparate without a wand, which neither Lily nor James had present on them at the times of their deaths. Though I do agree about some of the additions, I think it will still be an amazing film. Speaking for myself, I can't wait. It's truly the end of an era. I love Harry Potter.
@ForeverUpToNoGood I don't remember where I read it, but I once saw an interview with Rowling in which she said the reason Lily couldn't disapparate was because she was so freaked out that she couldn't muster the magic or something. James didn't have his wand, but where I think Lily must have (shouldn't they keep it on themselves at all times?). Anyway, let's hope this film leaves me with more to love than to hate, just like DH part 1 did. It probably will.

David Yates said that they actually had the budget for three parts to the Deathly Hallows but he did state that two films sums it up well. Having three would give fans the feel of "dragging it out" and that it would contain minor details and dialogue that were not important or of any significance to the story. The goal is obviously to caputure key points events in the story to convey to the audience and that's exactly what they did with both films. Part two will be great. I have no doubt of it.

@Portaleer EVERY article and website I have seen says the DH Part 2 is 125 and OOTP is 138. Except Wikipedia (which is probably the least reliable source) which says DH Part 2 is 130, but even that says OOTP is 138...so I don't know what you are looking at.
None the less, roughly a two-hour movie is a comfortable length. It's not too long, not too short. This is HARRY POTTER we're talking about. It'll be awesome. WHO'S WITH ME?!

so i was watching the 2nd movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and I almost started crying because I realized it's all ending in 16 days. How can that be possible? I love this so much but I'm going to cry so hard during this movie..

David Yates said that they actually had the budget for three parts to the Deathly Hallows but he did state that two films sums it up well. Having three would give fans the feel of "dragging it out" and that it would contain minor details and dialogue that were not important or of any significance to the story. The goal is obviously to caputure key points events in the story to convey to the audience and that's exactly what they did with both films. Part two will be great. I have no doubt of it.

@Portaleer aside from what JARHuygebaert said, it's also been confirmed through interviews with both David Yates and David Heyman that the movie is exactly two hours long. I don't know where you're getting your facts, but... they're not right.

@Portaleer EVERY article and website I have seen says the DH Part 2 is 125 and OOTP is 138. Except Wikipedia (which is probably the least reliable source) which says DH Part 2 is 130, but even that says OOTP is 138...so I don't know what you are looking at.

None the less, roughly a two-hour movie is a comfortable length. It's not too long, not too short. This is HARRY POTTER we're talking about. It'll be awesome. WHO'S WITH ME?!

@froofiedadawg Yup! I mean, obviously being accustomed to the long Harry Potter films over the years, we expect a long movie. Yes. Granted it may be the shortest but a two-hour movie is long in general anyway. There's no lacking with this film. I can't wait to see this epic climax / conclusion. It's been long enough and we're finally going to see it..soon!

Odds are it will be considering the fact they broke the Hallows into two parts in the first place. Once again, regardless, I'm sure we'll all be more than satisfied and I quote: "This is CERTAINLY the best emotional climax you can wish for" -DAVID BARRON.
