It as the same chassis as the Volvo XC90, a very safe car. When you drive it, you feel safe too. The main reason why I bought mine!

we got in a actedent like that and it was at 35mph and it only cost 3,000 to fix GOOD BUY and the car was only 31,ooo

For 2008, Ford Taurus ( Formally Five Hundred ) was awarded as the safest car in it's class you can buy. The Taurus X ( Freestlye ) also got the same thing. So they've both been the safest cars since 2005 but it wasn't so recognized yet. This is a great test and anyone would come out of that wreck just fine and brushing off the airbag dusk of the shoulders.
