  • Those look like very fun elevators.

  • no wonder i didnt ride these only go to 41 lol i was wondering where the heck was this one that i didnt see

  • my grandfather wont like this place at all he is afraid of hights anywhere from 10 and up he is afraid of it Im not so I cant wait to come here

  • Was with the tape on floor AL?

  • I dunno - my camcorder was going nuts.

  • No. The tape on top of the button for floor AL?

  • That's because they're renovating the lobby area.

  • tall atrium

  • Tallest atrium in the world, before the Burj Al-Arab was built in Dubai.

  • Is the AT&T Tower restricted?

  • Yeah :-(

  • that looks like fun

  • yo wtf is too cool

  • Does this elevator lurch your stomach so hard as fast on a roller coaster or do your ears just pop?

  • For me, neither; however, I have heard quite a few stories of people getting sick while riding. They do accelerate quite quickly.

  • i love those fast elevators especially glass ones like that one

  • Did it stop at 10 because someone called it? I didnt see a 10th floor button in the elevator.

  • Yeah - all elevators go to the 10th floor there.

  • Why do they all go to the 10th floor? Is that the lobby?

  • Nope; the 10th floor has event space that is completely open, looking out on the atrium.

  • This elevator looks similar to the Marriott in Times Square but the elevaotr model is different (Otis).

  • Actually they were exactly the same (both made by Otis) before Schindler modernized the ones in NY and Otis modernized the ones here.

  • Schindler modernized the ones in NYC with Miconic 10, to reduce the waiting time(usually @ least 30 min), but it isn't that much better, although now when you select your floor, you still have to wait @ least 5 min. If I get a chance, I will go w/ my dad and film it!!!

  • There is one building in Atlanta with Miconic 10 - the AT&T Tower, which is 45 floors tall.

  • The Mariott Marquis (NYC) is 50 floors. The view is on 48, 49, and 50. The highest hotel room is on 47.

  • this is 52 because of the lobby levels the top number is 47 but counting the lobbys that are above ground its 52 this has a better atrium and they are reaugular

  • this place is better than the one in NYC

  • Cool elevator!

  • Two words: Nice and Fast!

  • That noise it made at the top is weird. It is their normal tone, but extremely high-pitched, and I have only heard it at that hotel. It happens on many different floors, but at random.

  • I heard an Otis make that sound at the Contemporary at Disney World on every floor.

  • the conteporary elevators talk I think it was otis there was an otis at the hotel and the tower of terror ride it self was an otis I like the contemperary we didnt stay there we went there to get on the monorail

  • Sorry, the elevators were modernized and the don't talk anymore. I asked someone why they don;t talk anymore and they told me they didn't want it to fell like a children's hotel because I think you used to get a differnt charcter announcing the floor every time
