  • Wow that must have taken alot of time. Good work.

  • Thanx 4 the kind comment, really appreciate it!

It took about 3 weeks in all, you'll probably notice a few mistakes like:

1 Lighting (didn't allow for daylight motion)

2 Marks on the carpet (where I kept kneeling down and adjusting the toys)

3 Sofa moving back (where my clever father insisted on sitting on that chair and moved it) AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!

I think the worst of it, was putting up with the nagging lol!

I hope my mum don't see that bit lol!!!

  • not bad.

  • lol kool vid =] check out mine lad

  • omg how do u do this i wanna be an animator when im older for things like spongebob but i dont know how so please add my msn and tell me how please its lukeninjas@hotmail.com

  • Thanks for your kind comment m8, really appreciate it!

    Part 1

All animation is, is like a flipbook but instead of flipping the pages, your just taken photo's everytime you move your character to another position...

  • Part 2

The best thing to use is probably a webcam, but if you don't have one of those just use a digital camera, but be careful not to move the camera or you'll get alot of jolting movement...

  • Part 3

The only other thing to think of is lighting, a desktop lamp is a good thing to use, but you must careful not to move the light too much as it will make alot of dancing shadows on your film.

Also try to use a firm surface, not like I done it makes marks on the carpet, where you keep moving your figures around on...

  • Part 4

I hope this has been a good explanation for you.

Just wanna say one last thing without sounding nasty, don't ever leave your email on the youtube comments!

Anyone can see it and misuse it!

    Keep safe!

    Robby!!!

  • Hi Robby, great vid m8, well done

  • You are really puzzling me as to who you are, you're not from Vineyard are u?

    Give me a clue pweeeeeeeeeze!

  • Yah. I am cramming 146 pictures into a 4 second movie or clip. :P As for the frames per second...I dont know. hehe its almost finished. I am edditing in the effects right now.

  • Time for Maths, ahhhhhhhhhh lol

146 divided by 4=36.5 so you should have about 36/37 frames per second, where as I only have 4 frames per second.

Yours will be more interesting though as whatever you've animated will have better movement.

    Looking forward to seeing it!

  • Just had to have this one as my first favourite, it is so sweet

    Brilliant vid

    You sound a sweet guy

    Marsha xxx

  • Cool vid!

  • Hey did anybody notice the little one that popped out of the corner of the sofa at about 2:13 and disappear at about 2:27? Right? ANyways. GOOD JOB! Very nice... RIght now I am edditing my stop motion and will be putting it up soon. Well, how many pics did you take total?

  • At 2:13 Willy the Wombat poked his head out to see what was going on, but decided I don't wanna play no more and took cover at 2:27.

Ahh poor Willy, everyone say ahh lol!

Thanks for the nice comment, really appreciate it.

Will look forward to seeing your stop motion when you get it up and running.

    Thanks again

    Robby!!!

  • PS: It took 4 frames per second and took about 2 weeks to do altogether, but as to how many frames per picture, don't ask lol!
