There are many comments here from people that can't spell! I am also amazed why someone would dislike this layout. It has great detail & many hours of work put into it, Thanks for sharing Clive
i used to have the problem of reaching a s im rather small cut a sectoin out in the middle so a you can reach and b you get to see all around your layout so if you see it derail you can see it and correct it
this layout is awesome ,its inspiring ,,love the detail ,hope mine looks anything near as good as this ,,when its finished ,pls check my hornby video out,so far ,,5************
I've just bought a Hornby Southern rail era M7 class but I don't know what type and how many coaches it would have pulled, does any one here know? PS, I have a 1930s era railway.
see you have the same problem as me with the loft layout the roof trusses are a pain Ive tried to incorprate mine int to the scenery by putting buildings around them and painting the rest white. Nice layout though well impressed
@jay123lufc there are two large sections measuring 10ft x4ft each and a connecting section of 3ftx1ft, there's still loads of room to fill but i struggle to reach the furthermost parts at the back.
I'm a beginner too! I made a few mistakes-biggest being the baseboard, I used MDF on pine struts between the trusses, I have had to reinforce the boards with more cross members as it began to sag and my other tip would be to be flexible-Ive changed loads as the months pass, I use tiny screws to fasten the track now, painted black, that way I can reuse the track more easily if I decide to change the layout! good luck!
