Is the church in this video Notre Dame in Petit Goave? The white building that follows looks like l'Hotel de ville in Grand Goave. If it so, are you from these areas.
all these things are gone now. It's such a shame, people work so hard to built their houses and nopw they are homeless. on top of it many has lost their life on january 12. What a waste. May God gives us strenght to survive.
Really! People are saying most houses have been destroyed. For sure, my family told me that in my neighborhod only a few houses are still there. But those houses are either cracked or leaning forward.
My family immigrated from Haiti in 1966,I was 7 years old.All my life I was always proud to be Haitian. I love my culture and my people....now more then ever. I've raised all four of my children to love and appreciate their culture. I pray now that Haiti will rebound from this tremendous hit that it's taken, and that my people will regain their strenght and character as they have in the past.
My reason for doing this video is to show the youth of Haitian descent living outside of Haiti see a side of Haiti that the mass media wants hidden. Because Haiti is only suppose to be associated with poverty and destruction. I am not interested in beating a dead horse. Besides those houses are in Haiti if we show the bad we should show the good too.
I hope my video didnt offend anyone. Ayisyen Pou Lavi

Très belle représentation d'haiti. Hope more people get to view this. Love that song too by Jacques Sauveur, he's one of my faves.
