Lots of people are either degrading or talking great things about acupuncture, but thats not the point here..this guy is claiming that he CAN cure your frozen shoulder, even without performing a checkup..thats where the problem lies..no doctor can say with complete confidence that he/she can cure a disease without personally looking into your condition, and anyone who does say so is not a reliable doctor..

I'd suggest range of motion exercises just slightly beyond the point of tolerable pain once daily in each direction that causes pain with the elbow flexed and with the elbow extended. Don't wear it out though. The goal would be to loosen the restrictions whether caused by adhesions or inflammation without causing more injury or irritation. Be patient. It took me months to recover full range of motion after my stumble on the staircase. See my other response.
I think I may have had this starting last Spring. I'd been bearing down on my shoulder with a pastry cutter grinding whole boiled eggs for my chickens when we had excess eggs. The pain became so great that I quit using it for about a week before I missed a step on the staircase, caught the rail with the affected hand and as I went down it felt like I'd broken my shoulder. The pain was excruciating but by the next day I noticed more mobility and began healing. Now I'm fine.
I am from Singapore. Chinese acupuncture is practised here. My wife has frozen shoulder. After several visits, the forward and upward movement of her left hand is better. However, there is little improvement when she tries to place her hand behind – it rests below waist level. Do you have any suggestions ? (The acupuncturist does not 'twist' the needles. After inserting, they transit low-speed electricity to the needles. She used ST38 and various positions on the left arm and shoulder).
Terminology does matter !! I had a patient see one of these videos and she had real adhesive capsuliltis ("frozen shoulder"). She wanted to know if I could fix it in one minute like the video she saw.on the internet. This sort of thing does not educate a patient who has an actual frozen shoulder. Misrepresentation for people trying to find real answers. You should title this "impingement syndrome fixed in one minute". THEN perhaps it would be valid assist to patients.
She was able to lift her arm higher than her shoulder. The video is a lie. You can see that he signaled her to stop moving her arm when it got to shoulder level. Evil misrepresentation just to steal money from all people.

@MrChambers10 frozen shoulders are generally caused when the external and internal rotaters of the shoulder try to act at the same time ..............this caused by fascia around the lats .fascia and muscle are inter connected so any restrictions with in fascia well affect the propecepters around the area.

you are saying the patient is having pain, but in this video.. she is not showing any signs of pain while lifting the arm. and this is a joint stiffness not a frozen shoulder, since its an accident case.. frozen shoulder/ PA shoulder occurs in diabetic patients.. even if its 6 months of frozen shoulder also she wont have this much of range of motion. so i would like to know more about the cast and could you pls explain the basic principle of your treatment.

Her problem seems to present a lot like my frozen shoulder. I'm wondering if I should see my acupuncturist who has helped me significantly, dare I say cured me, with some pain issues and movement problems. My acupuncturist was totally unable to help me with tennis elbow, but my cousin the kinesiologist was able to help me.

Mayo clinic.com suggests that surgery is needed in only a small % of cases of frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis. I not only REGULARLY treat frozen shoulder, but also rotator cuff injuries, impingement syndrome, bursitis, arthritis, etc with similar point combinations.

@prakashverekar I am not a naysayer against any alternative medicine. I think acupuncture can treat pain and stress for example. But a frozen shoulder is not merely a painful shoulder, significant tissue changes occur, and fibrotic tissue develops in the capsule. It is not possible to relieve it immediately, even with the common orthopedic MD remedy of a manipulation. That video is NOT a frozen shoulder.

All of them were diagnosed as frozen shoulder by their respective orthopedic surgeons. on of the patient is a doctor himself. he is graduate in medicine, graduate in surgery and graduate in obstetrics & gynecology. every single orthopedic surgeon diagnosing the disorder as frozen shoulder in each case may not be wrong.

it is easy to do. the point should be exactly located. give strong stimulation by all three methods of stimulation simultaneously. ask patient to move arm upwards while you stimulate the point and it will definitely cure the frozen shoulder in one minute.

She doesn't appear to be in much pain, ie little pain behaviours on the initial lift? There doesn't appear be any compensation from the trapezius which is often typical.

Anyone with minimum knowledge of acupuncture can definitely replicate this effect.
I'm sure your statement is true, anyone with acupuncture knowledge could replicate this effect. However, I'm just curious to whether it's a true effect on 'frozen shoulder' or another shoulder problem. Even if she was taking pain killers, she would still show much more effort in getting to her end range movement and even the clinician/therapist could over press the movement to show it was truly restricted by the capsule and not just pain.
Also if she was in the phase 2 of capsulitis then you would be mainly treating the 'stiffness' or restriction, but that is not evident in this footage. Again, I'm not objecting to this technique helping pain, I just question the presentation from what I can see. Thanks for your response. I've worked in a hospital where 3 Dr's missed a patient's broken hip as he had dysphasia and couldn't tell them, although they'd assessed him, so just because 3 surgeons have assessed isn't conclusive. ty

For this problem, Allopathy would have taken first x-ray then given pain killers for long without any relief and then advice surgery fleecing the patient for thousands of rupees. I have seen many such chronic cases where within very short period of time or within very few seatings Dr. Verekar has cured his patients very skillfully and so easily.
Lots of people are either degrading or talking great things about acupuncture, but thats not the point here..this guy is claiming that he CAN cure your frozen shoulder, even without performing a checkup..thats where the problem lies..no doctor can say with complete confidence that he/she can cure a disease without personally looking into your condition, and anyone who does say so is not a reliable doctor..

I'd suggest range of motion exercises just slightly beyond the point of tolerable pain once daily in each direction that causes pain with the elbow flexed and with the elbow extended. Don't wear it out though. The goal would be to loosen the restrictions whether caused by adhesions or inflammation without causing more injury or irritation. Be patient. It took me months to recover full range of motion after my stumble on the staircase. See my other response.

I think I may have had this starting last Spring. I'd been bearing down on my shoulder with a pastry cutter grinding whole boiled eggs for my chickens when we had excess eggs. The pain became so great that I quit using it for about a week before I missed a step on the staircase, caught the rail with the affected hand and as I went down it felt like I'd broken my shoulder. The pain was excruciating but by the next day I noticed more mobility and began healing. Now I'm fine.

I am from Singapore. Chinese acupuncture is practised here. My wife has frozen shoulder. After several visits, the forward and upward movement of her left hand is better. However, there is little improvement when she tries to place her hand behind – it rests below waist level. Do you have any suggestions ? (The acupuncturist does not 'twist' the needles. After inserting, they transit low-speed electricity to the needles. She used ST38 and various positions on the left arm and shoulder).

Terminology does matter !! I had a patient see one of these videos and she had real adhesive capsuliltis ("frozen shoulder"). She wanted to know if I could fix it in one minute like the video she saw.on the internet. This sort of thing does not educate a patient who has an actual frozen shoulder. Misrepresentation for people trying to find real answers. You should title this "impingement syndrome fixed in one minute". THEN perhaps it would be valid assist to patients.

you are saying the patient is having pain, but in this video.. she is not showing any signs of pain while lifting the arm. and this is a joint stiffness not a frozen shoulder, since its an accident case.. frozen shoulder/ PA shoulder occurs in diabetic patients.. even if its 6 months of frozen shoulder also she wont have this much of range of motion. so i would like to know more about the cast and could you pls explain the basic principle of your treatment.

I am conducting clinical research on this technique with an open mind and treating people free of cost here out in Bangalore. I too have received 75% success rate with shoulder joint movement issues. The success rate so far in diabetic people who commonly face this type of problem is 100% and only one treatment is sufficient. Frozen shoulder is an adhesive capsulitis and cannot be opened without surgical or heavy manual separation of the adhesive tissue. Any real doctor will tell you this. Mayo clinic.com suggests that surgery is needed in only a small % of cases of frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis. I not only REGULARLY treat frozen shoulder, but also rotator cuff injuries, impingement syndrome, bursitis, arthritis, etc with similar point combinations.

@prakashverekar I am not a naysayer against any alternative medicine. I think acupuncture can treat pain and stress for example. But a frozen shoulder is not merely a painful shoulder, significant tissue changes occur, and fibrotic tissue develops in the capsule. It is not possible to relieve it immediately, even with the common orthopedic MD remedy of a manipulation. That video is NOT a frozen shoulder.

All of them were diagnosed as frozen shoulder by their respective orthopedic surgeons. on of the patient is a doctor himself. he is graduate in medicine, graduate in surgery and graduate in obstetrics & gynecology. every single orthopedic surgeon diagnosing the disorder as frozen shoulder in each case may not be wrong.

@1973Honda125 acupuncture results are longer lasting or permanent. pressure on same points will definitely provide some relief but no cure.

@healersupreme Thanks for reminding me of Anton. He taught me alot when I was there in 1992. I have seen this treatment live and it astonished me. I have tried it myself with less success but I stood 3 feet away and watched.

He was greatest human being.
it is easy to do. the point should be exactly located. give strong stimulation by all three methods of stimulation simultaneously. ask patient to move arm upwards while you stimulate the point and it will definitely cure the frozen shoulder in one minute.

to this day acupuncture done regulary was the only treatment that has worked. It is hard to target and do exercises daily which is physical therapy and use of bands. i have been suffering for two years now on and off. best when i do acupuncture once a week

will i be able to do this treatment my self i have two frozen shoulders & its driving me mad , i have just bought some acupuncture needles & books , i im seeing a pysio in england at the moment & she puts one needle in my hand between my thumb & for finger & one in my arm were the arm bends & 3 around the top of the shoulder , it does not seem to work , but one good thing has come frm this my burning feet have been cured

my thoughts exactly, 36 years ago. nobody should believe such a thing.
now after witnessing thousands of patients being cured in one treatment at the hands of my guru prof dr anton jayasuriya and curing many many patients my self with this safe, instant, effective treatment; i believe it.

I'm sure if this treatment worked others would be using it and sufferers like myself wouldn't have to endure years of pain. One minute, I hardly think so. Stop preying on the vulnerable :-(

She doesn't appear to be in much pain, ie little pain behaviours on the initial lift? There doesn't appear be any compensation from the trapezius which is often typical.
the pin at the font appears as though it isn't in her skin?
I suspect a misdiagnosis and she has an impingment problem..

I'm sure your statement is true, anyone with acupuncture knowledge could replicate this effect. However, I'm just curious to whether it's a true effect on 'frozen shoulder' or another shoulder problem. Even if she was taking pain killers, she would still show much more effort in getting to her end range movement and even the clinician/therapist could over press the movement to show it was truly restricted by the capsule and not just pain.

Also if she was in the phase 2 of capsulitis then you would be mainly treating the 'stiffness' or restriction, but that is not evident in this footage. Again, I'm not objecting to this technique helping pain, I just question the presentation from what I can see. Thanks for your response. I've worked in a hospital where 3 Dr's missed a patient's broken hip as he had dysphasia and couldn't tell them, although they'd assessed him, so just because 3 surgeons have assessed isn't conclusive. ty

i can cure 80 persons out 100 with this technique the rest 20 will have definite relief.

Very good video. Shows how effective is Acupuncture. For this problem, Allopathy would have taken first x-ray then given pain killers for long without any relief and then advice surgery fleecing the patient for thousands of rupees. Here it was done in one minute. Modern Medicine is bogus science. Turn to superior holistic healing modalities. Dr. Prakash Verekar is a good friend for long. You must see to believe his work. This is really awesome! I think Acupuncture is one of the best alternative therapy and it creates wonder in the hands of Master.
It is for sure that Prof. Dr. Prakash Verekar is one of the best Acupuncture Practitioner in the world.
I have seen many such chronic cases where within very short period of time or within very few seatings Dr. Verekar has cured his patients very skillfully and so easily.
