  • what did you use to edit this?

  • Cool bond music

  • BROSNAN FTW! Hottest fucker in the bunch! Daniel Craig looks like a used diaper.

  • Dalton is my personal favourite

  • Its sad that Dalton never had a chance to have at list 3rd Bond Movie. But GoldenEye I'm sure it will be given to Brosnan because its been 4 years delayed for his role. Actually he was the second Bond role ever given but rejected it because he was to young and a big respect to Sean. But I think if he had accepted earlier it would been different. All bond actors were excellent but this actor was just so underrated. Dalton was superb and can do stunts too and this movie was awesome.

  • @DnRaidenIV I do have to agree with you, Dalton was very underrated. He was not my favorite Bond (that goes to Connery of course, the other five Bonds kind of all fall more or less together in terms of favoritism for me). I think where people under-appreciated Dalton was that he didn't have the charm of Connery or Lazenby, nor the wit of Moore. He was a more serious, sinister Bond and that's not a bad thing, I think people just really came to appreciate those other traits in Bond.

  • @Poptronic It kinda makes me think his bond inspired the new James Bond.

  • Proper class Bond theme, video ain't bad either. In fact, I'm pretty much ovulating right now. And I'm not even female!

  • my top bond list

    1) roger moore

    2) connery

    3) craig

    4) dalton

    5) brosman but they are all awesome

  • @dalektaliban What about George Lazenby?

  • Timothy Dalton - the most underrated Bond and simply a very very good Bond. Better than Moore and marginally less-so to Brosnan and Connery. The jury is out on Craig I'm afraid. GIve Dalton the credit he deserves - The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill were great films

  • There have been so many but this song is 2nd only to Paul McCartney's "Live and Let Die" which is the absolute classic bond song. Madonna's "Die Another Day" is good but A-HA is better. Anyone like Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only" from 1980/1981? ...excellent actually!

  • Definitely one of the stand out Bond themes. Think I still prefer A View To A Kill by Duran Duran though.

  • Best james bond theme song

  • In terms of acting dalton is second to Connery, shame his movies werent as good as the older ones of Connery and Moore.Moore was probably the funniest of all bonds and thats why he is my favorite:D.Craig is more like Rambo than like a Bond.He doesnt have the charm the others had,the humour and i dont like his voice.

  • @Saskobest yeah, and in the last 2 films James Bond has been more like and assassin than an agent.

  • @McflyJonesSkywalker That's kind of what Bond was like in the books, and what do you think a secret agent really is? Most of what they do involves killing. I for one think Daniel Craig has done a fantastic job... not that I'll say for the past two movie themes... urgh...

  • @Bzamm615 actually, Ian Fleming - when he was still alive - admit that Thunberball with george lazemby is the closest to his books.

  • @proudmary86 But Lazenby was in Majesty's Secret Service, not Thunderball, so I'm having trouble trusting your credibility....

  • Comment removed

  • @proudmary86 haha, ok, that may be so, and I didn't mind Lazenby that much, but I still feel personally that the character of Bond that I envisioned while reading Fleming's books is most accurately portrayed by Sean or Daniel

  • Dalton's last film was too brutal for the audience .... I would say he was 17 years ahead. With Craig the brutality is now viewed just as a matter of course.

  • This is my favorite James Bond.

  • Dalton was an awesome Bond!

  • @NottinghamForest22 He was okay, but Connery was the best. Lazenby...no, Moore, good, Brosnan, good, Craig, really good.

  • @SVUMJFAN I don't like Craig.

  • Does anyone here think that the lead vocalist sounds a little bit like Peter Murphy of Bauhaus?

  • i love this movie

  • the man with the golden gun - best song ever

  • Comment removed

  • by the way, MY fave Bond song :

    1. Living Daylight - A-ha

    2. Goldeneye - Tina Turner

    3. A view to a kill - Duran Duran

    4. Live and Let die - Paul McCartney and Wings

    5. Nobody does it better - Carly Simon

    6. You know my name - Chris Cornell

    7. We have all the time in the world - Louis Amstrong

i also love all Bond songs in the Pierce Brosnan era, except (obviously) Die another day

    that one was just... ouch

  • @Peacelover1212 How ironic, it's my favorite Bond song, or maybe 2nd best :D

  • right now HBO Asia is playing all the Bond movie 'Bond Evolution' from Sean Connery until Pierce Brosnan, i'm not a bond fan but it's nice to see the old ones that we rarely see like Moonraker and On her majesty secret service. I like bond movie cause of their theme song like A-Ha,Duran Duran and my fav Chris Cornell from Casino Royale. but Carly Simon 'Nobody Does It Better' from The Spy Who Love Me top my list. And my sisters and me agree that Timothy Dalton is the handsomest James Bond ever

  • @MrPeteconnor agreed. i was so excited to see the Bond evolution on HBO, i 'm dying to see Connery's movie! My mom always think that he's the best bond ever. But unfortunately, due to the excessive works i have, i didn't get the chance to see some of them. But i was lucky to be able to see The Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton as Bond. I loooove the song so much, and Living Daylight is my fave Bond movie now, and i love Tim Dalton as James Bond... :)

  • Morten Harket was always so good looking...this is the best Bond theme ever IMO!! I like the DD one as well- but I am an AHA fan anyways ..so...!!

  • Duran Duran wrote the best ever Bond song!

  • @apotiximenoi Troll less. Living Daylights and A View To A Kill are both excellent songs. Neither is better than the other. They were 2 of the greatest songs of the 80s. I think we can also agree that Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough are also both excellent, 2 of the greats from the 90s. =D

  • the 80`s never die, thanks god that i was a teenager in this time.

    it was FANTASTIC and GREAT!!!

  • Don't be nasty, joesoap the guy/girl was only making a statement about good music!!!

  • Best Bond Song.

  • This is Guy Berryman, bassist of Coldplay, favourite A-ha song!

  • never been a pop fan, but this song is just badass. one off my favorite bond songs along with "you know my name" and "a view to a kill". rest off them i don`t care for :)

  • "proffessional? "

0:22 shows how amateur the video actually is.

    p.s. learn to spell

  • Best bond, best song, best movie.

  • "The Living Daylights" wasn't a bad 007 flick at all. One of the better ones, actually. A bit more realistic than some of the ones with evil rich guys who have their own spaceships and submarines and shit.

  • De mis favoritas; Primero " For your eyes only de Sheena Easton"; Y segunda " The living daylights"

  • this is the best bond song ever and it always will be my love respect to a,ha

  • gladys knight-license to kill is also prett bad ass

  • cool

  • Top 5:

    1-GoldenEye - Tina Turner

    2-The Living Daylights - Aha

3-A View to a Kill - Duran Duran

4-You Know My Name - Chris Cornell

5-Another Way to Die - Alicia Keys

    Dalton was the best!!

  • @HenryJonesVictor Watcha mean Dalton was the best?? THE best is and always will be Sean Connery (Y)

  • Could any producer set up a mega 80's pop live show featuring:

    A-ha

    Duran Duran

    and Talk-Talk !!

  • my favorite Bond movie

  • My favorite bond song and i dont like duran duran a view to kill too much.

  • "SET YOUR HOPES UP WAY TOO HIGH. LIVING'S IN THE WAY WE DIE."

Riveting! I actually had this as a motto. I was 12 years old when I first heard the song and saw its video. I fell in love with Morten Harket on the spot! Faces of angels (and bodies you can go to hell with), passed their puberty , real men with real talent, A-ha is the 80's answer to the Bieber generation. Now, my 12-year old love (the younger looking) Morten. She saw a video of him ar 50. She still thinks Morten is hot!!

  • I love this song. The 80's were the best ever. born in 82. We we are such a better generation with more taste

  • @crono4265

You were only a small child throughout the 80s, so wtf are you talking about?

  • @LikerOfThings done be a hater man, I remember what it was like being a child of the 80's. My first regular Nintendo was in 88. I remember transformers, gi joe, he-man. Music was cool. Life was better

  • @crono4265 where u from? i got my nintendo nes in 86, my cousin got the amiga in 85 and that was first 32 bit computer ahead of its time

  • @crono4265 I bet you had great knowledge and taste in music at the age of 5.

  • my favourite Bond song - ironic because I know a number of people who consider it among the weakest Bond songs. I think it has the vibe of a Bond song while still being somewhat true to the band's usual style. That Bond feeling is not so much in your face with this one, but you can't miss it.. 0:53 and following secs...

One of my favourite songs ever.

  • @RollTheHardSix Well, this is A-Ha's debut song.

  • I love Bond and A-Ha is a good fit for it.

  • That aston martin is epic, sliding across the screen like that

  • This Film Rock, the action, the music and Timothy Dalton, he is good

  • Norvegia Reigns

  • a-ha (the band): the only reason I saw "The Living Daylights," for they did the best Bond song.

  • Pelicula Clia mala... el puro tema la salvo :D

  • I was on a trip to Belgium with my school, and I stopped off in a public toilet to answer the call of nature, and I suddenly heard this song playing, and I thought "Wow, the Belgians have a good taste in music... And no music of their own..." I came out of the toilet (Payed some woman for using the toilet) and suddenly realised I had my IPod on full volume in my pocket, playing this... Oops...

  • @sipodge

Nobody gives a shit about ur inane ramblings friend.

  • @joesoap81 Top comment... People obviously do give a shit

  • @sipodge worst joke ever

  • @biertje373 That wasn't a joke, it was an anecdote

  • @sipodge for me it's the same, and i learned a new english word thx

  • @sipodge So the Norwegians have good music taste instead!

  • @renaultlover1 Wait - Where do the Norwegians come into all this? :P

  • @sipodge That is where the band is from, not Belgium

  • @renaultlover1 Aaah! But I never said they were from Belgium :P

  • @sipodge The Belgians have music of their own ass hole. Actually check.

  • @PersonifiedMusic I never said they didn't

  • you forgotten license to kill ;-)

  • Haaah. *breathes in* I love it. °3°

  • My favorite Bond theme.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOND SONG

  • im an aha fan but my faborite bonds theme is live and let die

  • Cool theme :)

Scandinavian Singers (talent channel for young singers)

  • For me alongside Wings' Live and Let Die and Chris Cornell's You Know My Name as the best Bond theme's ever.

  • Whenever a-ha is on, whatever I am feeling goes away and I am happy.

  • A-ha é uma banda que nunca sairá de moda! Suas músicas serão conhecidas por muitas e muitas gerações do futuro. A-ha, simplesmente sensacional!!!

  • This is a video with "CLASS"

  • 57 people like pixels

  • The Living Daylights is the 15th Bond film and GoldenEye is the 17th Bond film.

  • Reminds of the song Yuri Antonov "Крыша дома твоего", "Krysha doma tvoevo"!

  • most people don't know but this is the only norwegian band making a james bond song as a single to an album

  • LOL its Connery,Lazenby,Dalton, Peirce, David Niven, then Roger Moore

The Roger moore films were comedic trash not wit but actual comedy which isn't bond you had wit in Connery, Lazenby, Dalton and Golden eye *I say just golden eye because the rest of peirces stuff sucked* but in roger moore it was actual comedic moments.

  • a-ha are pretty/very outstanding at bond tunes

  • god i love your arguements, seems everyone is good....and they are!!!!!!

  • Don't forget Roger Moore. This is for Retrojenny.

  • Fuck You All hahah Tymothy is the best ! Why ? Voice and body language

  • The 80's had great Bond films! The new films are unmemorable pieces of CGI enhanced shit.

  • My favorite Bond song (and my vote best Bond song ever). And a-ha is one of the reasons I even saw "Living Daylights" in the first place.

  • The name is A.. A-ha.

  • one of the best bond songs, better than any new age bond shit by like garbage n madonna

  • Dalton = Unerrated Bond

  • Classic clips and classic music really well done.

  • Goldeneye is the best Bond movie made to date.

  • My TOP 3 songs of Bond.

    1. Duran Duran - View to a Kill

    2. Tina Turner - Goldeneye

    3. Aha - The Living Daylights

  • @DrugPoznan I may change the order but defo the best 3.

  • @DrugPoznan yes great songs, but i think you left out some classics as, Diamonds are forever, You only live twice, for your eyes only and Live and let die. all has that speciel Bond feel and atmosphere =)

  • @Unplugged1977 i agree with u there but this song is still one my top bond songs

  • @DrugPoznan you just sumed them all up those are the best

  • @DrugPoznan Theme to Live and Let Die does it for me.

  • @DrugPoznan my top 3 too ^_^

  • @DrugPoznan Almost right, but

    1. Duran Duran - View to a Kill

    2. Aha - The Living Daylights

    3. Madonna - Die another Day :)

  • @DrugPoznan Number 2 and 3 should be the other way round.

  • @DrugPoznan Also Moby video clip (James Bond theme)

  • @DrugPoznan Agreed, with Live and Let Die and You Know My Name rounding out the top 5. Love all five of them.

  • @DrugPoznan what about live and let die

  • @DrugPoznan Almost agree with you. for me it's 1. Duran Duran- view to a kill 2. A-ha - living daylights and 3. Carly simon--nobody does it better.

  • @DrugPoznan What about another way to die or you know my name

  • @DrugPoznan Right order too!

  • @DrugPoznan I'll tell you what the worst James Bond song is, that god awful Madonna song from Die Another Day.

  • @HelloFade2 I couldn't agree more. Bond theme tracks have depth and a "living on the edge", gripping resonance all throughout. Unlike that shallow, barbie headed, refuse.

  • This one along with "A View to a Kill" are the best Bond songs ever made. Long live the 80's!

  • Best Bond

Bond can be serious and dark

It has humor ( Cello snowride)

  • what's better this one or 'View to a kill'??

  • @2912770 A View To a Kill is better I think. The only Bond song to go number one on the billboard charts. This A-Ha song would follow second.

  • Personally, I've liked all the Bonds, though--yes--Roger Moore's seemed to depend more on gadgets than the others. A spy movie with Brosnan/Dalton/Connery would be pretty cool, IMHO.

  • Timothy Dalton played James Bond, With the direction to play the role more close to how the book was written, Which was needed at the time, Daniel Craig is really just repeating the same idea, The odd thing is only two are English, Sean Connery is Scottish, Timothy Dalton is Welsh, Pierce Brosnan is from the Republic of Ireland, And George Lazenby is from Australia, I hear Ian Fleming wanted David Niven to play in Dr No instead of Sean Connery so that says it all with who gets the job

  • connery was the only one that could truely pull it off- the rest are mediocre at best

  • @maxissocool12

He was only got cold and selfish for real when the chick dies.

And besides, how would you think an agent from MI6 would work?

  • @maxissocool12

    Why was Daniel Craig fail?

I personally think he was a very good bond.

    The ruthlessness was quite awesome!

  • @sartanko Obviously he doesn't have great taste in Bond actors, Rodger Moore above Connery is a joke

  • I love this song

  • has to be Johnny English come on guys you know its true

  • Great song.

  • they rock! i love A-HA! love his voice

  • in a post from 2005 someone said that aha had a song written wich they adapted to be the living daylights, aso they had the music half written and was written by paul waaktaar and magne furuholmen, when they were call by the james bond team and barry they worked alone with the song and barry wanted his name on it so magne furuholmen doesnt appear in the credits, thats why aha and john barry had a bitter disagreement, i read it on a post dont know if it is true, but that would explain many things

  • The best Bonds (in my opinion) in order:

    1. Connery

    2. Dalton

    3. Brosnan

    4. Moore

    5. Craig

    6. Lazenby

  • @MultiPunisher16 imo

    1.Dalton

    2.Craig

    3.Bosnan

    4.Connery

    5.Moore

    6Lazenby

  • @radioactiveo Good list too :)

  • @MultiPunisher16 thanks :)

  • LOL did u just put moore and brosnan above Craig? him and Dalton are the only ones to be play the Character of Bond has it was written in the book and what Ian flaming wanted in other words all the others are good in there own way but none as close to the character as Dalton and craig are.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Sorry, but I´m not one of that "closest to the book" guy. I just enjoy a good movie :)

  • Roger Moore

    Timothy Dalton

    Pierce Brosnan

    the best Bond's...

  • @hakanmert20 Nearly...

    Timothy Dalton

    Sean Connery

    Pierce Brosnan

  • proffessional with two f's, it's that professional

  • Tim Dalton Great Bond

  • Best Bond theme

  • I would use the term "professional" loosely on your description. Good effort though. :)

  • salt corrosion

  • Timothy Dalton was my favorite Bond.

  • This song gives me goosebumps :S NORWAY FTW!

  • One of the reasons I saw "The Living Daylights" because a-ha did the theme song (and I found both the movie and song to be amongst the best in the James Bond franchise).

  • @UltraGokin so gokin Ur saying you could make 1 better at least he did make 1 just wondering can you? and so what? he made a typo oh well geez some of u make a mountain out of a damn molehill give him a break he did something you probably could never do anyways. great video and even greater band. PS: take on me was defiantly not there greatest hit :P.

  • I like it but not as much as Take on me that song is so good

  • @UltraGokin Haha, thank you!

  • I loved a view to a kill, Can't wait to see this this Bond

  • Yeah, Gladys Knights' Song from Licence to Kill was a wonderful epic song. since Golden Eye all bond songs were crappy.

  • Yeah, Gladys Knights' Song from Licence to Kill was a wonderful epic song. since Golden Eye all bond songs was crappy.

  • @rudolfdkaat I don't think so. Sheryl Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies was a powerful and sensual rock song, Garbage's The World Is Not Enough was innovative and sounded awesome, Madonna's Die Another Day was an icy and deep electronic take on the typical James Bond theme... and then you've got Chris Cornell and the White & Keys duo, which are also fantastic, and the list will go on and on.

Although I hate Daniel Craig. Can't wait till they find a new Bond.

  • The soundtracks are always better than the films, this and Gladys Knights are the best

  • 2 minute warning haha

  • Best Bond Song ever! a-ha is a great band.

  • @iammontecristo better than a view to a kill? cant make my mind up

  • Timothy dalton and Sean Connery are the best bonds

  • DALTON WAS THE BEST BOND!!!

  • @residentdeagle SEAN CONNERY-LIVING BOND

  • Dalton was a great Bond, very realistic, determined and underated. The Dalton portrayal of Bond was ahead of it's time!

  • 3.04 min- 3.34min. best feeling,ever!

  • LMAO, compare this to A View To A Kill(the movie before this) and it just doesn't compare, Dalton is king and the script for this movie was top notch, along with the soundtrack.
