Nice playing and tone - the old American Deluxe Precisions are the only type of P-Bass that I dig (a J-type Single Coil guy here) as well as work for traditional slap tones, mainly due to the Dual Coil humbucker that's far "balliser" than the more typical P/J arrangement. I even put the same setup using EMGs (a 40P5 & 40DC) in a "spare" Spector Euro Bolt-On 5 to have a quasi-Am Dlx P5 tone available.

Yes, it is. I have one except it's Mexican rather than American. It's a very amazing bass. The only difference is where it's made and the advantages. Mexican basses won't let you get a type of "warranty" if it breaks, they'll fix it free.

Other than that it's the exact same.

I love mine.
