I went to reunion in NY thinking, "yeah, another reunion," and had my head blown off. One the best shows I've seen in years. Forgot they were the best live band of the previous century.

I just saw the show the other night at the Variety Playhouse here in Atlanta and it was incredible. I saw them on the Lollapalooza tour and in Tampa in the mid-90s and while they've always been one of the tightest groups, I felt like they were even more dialed in and intense the other night. They've said this is a one-time only tour - they don't play any new material but just about every classic tune you'd wanna here - so you better check em out soon. One of the best live acts ever!

Mate, saw them twice post break-up: once in London and again at Primavera in Barcelona. You will have the time of your life. Unlike the Pixies who re-formed and gave a somewhat lacklustre performance, The Jesus Lizard still have it and fucking own live harder than 90% of the bullshit touring today. Enjoy.
