Once is by no doubt the greatest music album of all time. Whenever a Nightwish song makes my top 5 list (It's happened qa lot, lol), I automatically assume that it's from Once... And I'm usually right! :D

I just love NIghtwish, it´s an part of my soul. i don´t care if Taja or Anette, I love both of theme ! For example Poet and pendulum ..... thats their best song the have ever made !

@greekangelable Θα σου εξηγήσω γιατί το πιστέυω αυτό.Παρακολουθώ την πορεία των Nightwish απο το 1999 και υπήρξαν πάντοτε η αγαπημένη μου μπάντα,όπως και εσένα.Όπως σίγουρα θα έχεις παρατηρήσει,το 2002 με το Century Child άρχισε μια μικρή,μουσική διαφοροποίηση στην μπάντα,που όμως ήταν πολύ εύστοχη,καθώςπαρέμενε μέσα στα πλαίσια της εξέλιξης της μπάντας,και δεν στόχευε στην εμπορικοποίηση της.Ανάμεσα όμως στο Century Child και στο Once,υπάρχει ένα τεράστιο μουσικό χάσμα.

@greekangelable Μια καθαρά εμπορική κίνηση,που όπως θα έχεις σίγουρα παρατηρήσει,είναι πολύ μακριά απο τον γνήσιο ήχο τους.Μια αλλαγή στην οποία,πίστεψε με,δεν έπαιξε καθόλου μικρό ρόλο η αλλαγή εταιρίας,αφου η μόδα του symphonic metal που πλάσαραν τοτε άγγιξε μέχρι και τις black metal μπάντες της συγκεκριμένης εταιρίας,όπως τους dimmu borgir.Και δεν έιναι καθόλου τυχαίο που μεσα στη δεκαετία του 2000 πλασαρίστηκε τόσο πολύ το συγκεκριμένο είδος και όλες οι μπάντες άρχισαν να παιζουν ετσι.

@greekangelable Δεν σου κάνει εντύπωση που οι Immortal εξαφανιστηκαν απο τη metal σκηνη για τοσα χρονια,πανω που άρχιζε ολη αυτή η παπαρολογία με το symphonic metal?Στην ίδια εταιρία κι αυτοι.Σε όλη αυτη την τεραστια εμπορικη αλλαγη,επαιξε τεραστιο ρολο η μουσικη κατευθηνση που επιβαλλοταν στις μπαντες απο την εταιρία,η μανία του Holopainen να γραψει μουσικη σε φαση soundtrack,και η αποχωρηση του Sami το 2001.

@greekangelable Σκέψου απλα την κατηφορικη πορεια των Nightwish απο το 2004 και μετα,και που κατεληξε τελικα ολο αυτο μετα απο απανωτα γεγονοτα.Το πιο απλό απο όλα,ειναι να σκεφτεις τη στροφη 180 μοιρών στον τροπο που τραγουδουσε η Tarja,αφου αλλαξαν εταιρια.Τερμα τα οπερετικα φωνητικα,τερμα το προσωπικο στιγμα της μπαντας.Και αν το καλοσκεφτείς,εχει καμια σχεση το Once με δισκους οπως το Oceanborn σε μουσικη κατευθυνση και ποιότητα?Δεν σου κανει εντύπωση?

@TheWarriorRaven ωραίος. έτσι είναι. πολύ "πρώιμοι" Nightwish στο Angels Fall First, τα καλύτερα χρόνια σε λίγο πιο... power φάση στα Oceanborn και Wishmaster (για μένα τα πιο απίστευτα άλμπουμ που έχω ακούσει στην ζωή μου), συμφωνικοί στο Century Child και Once (και πιο "απαλή" φωνή της Τάρια, υπέροχοι απλά δίσκοι). Και τώρα τέρμα συμφωνικοί με Ανέτ (ακόμα και αν δεν έχουν την αίγλη του κάποτε, το Dark Passion Play ΤΟ ΛΑΤΡΕΥΩ!)....
