@stlcards9000 It depends on which concert the video is from. I have seen him do both with a pick and straight hammerons and pulloffs.

dude, u can make lessons, but u make the song you`re teaching seem hard and that`s why everyone`s tired after trying to do what you show `em - because they think they`ve done something really hard. Just say it`s easy and it`ll be easier...

it's easy, you just need some practice and build some strength in the fingers

you don't need to mute all the low strings with your thumb, just mute the 1st string and the 3rd string, and rock on :)
