There are so many things hilariously wrong with this. A dog in the hospital. The hospital guy running so carelessly in a clearly crowded are - or the fact that the passageway would be anywhere near non-faculty areas. A pre-op cardiac patient being anywhere but, y'know, the operating room. The fact that a TRANSPLANT HEART was being in a non-sterile container, ON ICE, not sealed.  Jesus. And they meant for it to be dramatic.

1) Why was there a dog in the hospital?

2) Why was that paramedic running? Dan obviously wasn't going to die right.that.second, so I see no need for running.
