I love that the there is no pick guard. Can a normal tele neck pickup be mounted like that? Is it something special or you just say "no pick guard" and they do it like that?
@GuillermoSmyser Warmoth will carve whatever pickup mount hole you need. So a regular Tele pup will fit with or without the pick guard. Check out the body and neck builder on the Warmoth site. Amazing number of options available and they are realy cool peeps to work with. You buy the guitars in kit form and assemble it yourself or pay a luthier to do it. After building my Warmoth Strat, I will probably never buy an off the rack guitar again..never say never..lol
beautiful, gorgeous sound! i'm planning to buy a warmoth tele but it's hard to choose among all those options.. who knows wich ones are gonna sound good to me? i'll take these vid as a suggestion (don't wanna copy though)
hey, nice guitar... i was wondering if the chambered mahogony body was still AS HEAVY as regular mahogony body??? if not? HOW HEAVY IS THIS ONE EXACTLY??? i was thinikng about a chambered mahogony strat body myself?
So, what is that about? You just spray on, rub on, or brush on this oil? Isn't it oily afterwards? Is a clear polished coat possible after this tru-oil thingamigigy? Thanks for any info you can give.
rub on Tru-oil with fingers light coats wipe off excess and dry 2 hrs. repeat 20x's. Buff lightly till dull with #0000 steel wool.level imperfections with 800 grit papers-wetsand, use rubbing compound, polishing compound , Meguiar's swirls polish, wax and your done.
What finish is it on that top? Clear gloss?
