  • well done..... one shot..one javelina

The crossbow is an horton or what?

I 've the horton hunter xs 200lbs

you think would be enough to make the same job

    thanks

  • @tommaso1098 Yes sir, it was a Horton. I used to represent that company until they changed ownership, and they went way downhill with quality and professionalism. What a shame. Your bow at 200lbs is more than enough to take down any game with exception of some African large game. Thank you for the comment and if you ever need any help with your crossbow hunting, please ask me and I would be more than happy to help you. Hola Amigo!

  • Enjoyed the Video! Thanks!

  • @thalassa9 Thank you for the wonderful comment. I sure appreciate you!

  • bur in hell i hope you get shot by a gans and your family watches you die and what ever sick peedo whaches this ans liks this shood get shot with a crossbo

  • Belissimo tiro, certeiro, e deve ser analizado a fundo como o tiro foi tão bem feito que o tombo da caça foi instantaneo.

Geralmente a caça acorre alguns metros ou até quilometros.

    Parabens!!!!

  • Excellent Shot!

  • Very nice shot. Congrat diva !

    Regards...

  • can you eat javalina? if so, how do they taste?

  • @tonitchit yes you can, and they are very good for the table. They seem to be more of a white meat than pork. I have a good recipe for Javelina tacos I make in camp when we harvest one.

  • @hoghunterdiva

Thanks for the info. I would love to hunt these things but we don't have them here in Virginia.

  • @tonitchit they taste like chicken.

  • First attracting them by feeding and later to fret about them, crazy.

  • @wzukr I wasn't feeding for them. They are huge opportinist though and when they find a free food source, they won't stop until it's totally gone, even when they are threatened. They do not scare off like other animals, and in fact, will charge. I have been charged as well as the land owner by this particular pod of Javelina. What makes me upset with these the most is, they will lay down in the corn and eat. No fear at all except from a group of hogs or gunfire.

  • I hope you enjoyed eating it. This is a way more sustainable and humane way of eating then buying some grocery pork. The pigs are so cute though.

  • wow, the quickest kill i've ever seen!! good shooting!!

  • beauty shot!

  • damn,thats a clean shot

  • I love that version of I Wish You Were Here. Nice shot!

  • Love your vids,I will be Javie hunting close to Pearsall next month

  • @76trapper You'll be hunting in a great area, just watch the rattlers in that area. They are thick! So are the hogs. You'll have a great time and good hunting! I hope you get everything you want on your hunt.

  • a women hunter? o.O

  • @MrRedeyedJedi

Yes, women hunt and are pretty darn good at it too. Not on Africa and some other countries tho. They still try to make women dependant on males, and that's too bad.

There is so much more to life than taking care of others and cleaning after others.

  • wonderful shot! i live in utah and there,s no javelina,s her i think?? that,s what ive been told? please advise the best way to start a javelina hunt? where at? best state? and when the season is? thanks!

  • @daniellesfriend1 Howdy! Collared Peccary aka Javelina are found in Texas, Arizona and Mexcio all the way to south America. In the USA I would say South Texas is ur best chance 4 Javs. Look for a ranch that is located south of San Anotonio and generally sells hog hunts. They seem thickest just south of S.A. Karnes City, Pearsall, Tilden area if u look at a map. Good Luck! 2 per year anytime but night in TX.

  • @hoghunterdiva ok thanks! whats a good bow combo to start out with?? arrow choice? grain? thanks again!

  • @daniellesfriend1 Try many bows that are 150 to 175 pound pull and see what fits you and in your priice range. Then you can choose an arrow and broadhead combo depending on what the bow is you choose. It's like picking any bow or rifle. Some feel better in ur hand and fit you. Different sizes. Seems some are made for folks 6 foot tall. I'll be more than happy to help you when ur ready with a few choices. Okay? Good Hunting!

  • @hoghunterdiva thanks i would appreciate that. i live in cedar city ut. ive been 2 texas several time and love the state. i get a kick out of the javelina hunts! one included a "butt shot" lol! poor piggy! he took an arrow to the neck area and went down and was jumping around and the hunter nocked an arrow for a 2nd shot and thats when it happened! the javelina turned and wham! ow! the other javelina,s hun around 2 long and where also fitted with a tag! cant wait for my first javelina! darren

  • I take my hunting philosophy from Allan Quartermain. "If you cant do it with one shot, dont do it at all" went shooting with my mother, 100 rounds each, just for the percentage.... i got 99% hits, she got 101% no joke, it bounced off a rock behind the first can and hit another. Pissed me off to no end and i gave her the "stink" look, every one knows that, maybe as the "go to hell" look but still

  • hunters should die you savages we have food its called the store no reason to hunt assholes

  • @IRONMAIDENFAN2006 Now aren't you a brilliant lil city boy? RFLMAO! Where does the "store" get the food it sells to idiots like you? DUH.

  • @hoghunterdiva im the idiot? im not the one killing defensless animals when theres stores to buy food from.. theres no reason to kill this animal......

stores have breeders or farmers or what ever you call it raise them yes i know this..

but its a waste to just go and kill something because your a cheap ass and want to save money.. also its morally wrong..

your not hunting to survive your doing it for sport and you go to hell for that

  • @IRONMAIDENFAN2006 OMG! The more u speak, the more you are not the brightest crayon in the box. That is just too funny! U haven't a clue do you? How old are u? 9? You know u shouldn't be on youtube at that age. Someone may just hurt your little feelings when your big nasty mouth over rides your little butt you just learned to wipe by yourself. Go tell your mommy someone is being mean to you .Read a book, go outdoors, and get off the stupid video games. Learn something worthwhile. LOL!

  • One and done, excellent shot ma'am. That is how a hunt should be carried out, one and done.

  • @hoghunterdiva would 50 yds. be max distance for using a crossbow?

  • looks like fun

  • Nice , That One Is Bigger Than My First Boar....Good Job!

  • @notubenick It's not the video, it's you or your computer. It loads for everyone else. Also, you didn't need to post this comment 10 times. Learn how posting on youtube videos work as well. So, what sucks? It ain't me or mine! LOL! Have a better day young one.

  • @MrYoudigg We do hunt deer but only during the deer season. We hunt other game when it's not deer season. Thanks for the post.

  • Lady, I wish my Mom can hunt like you? Nice shooting....

  • @fotograh Thank yoou for the awesome comment. Thank you!

  • strange creatures! do you eat them?

  • @TheUndert0ker

Yes! It's better than wild pork too.

  • @TheUndert0ker

Yes! It's better than wild pork too.

  • @hoghunterdiva personally i don't like it,,for me is better the wild pig,,,

  • strange creatures! do you eat them? the hairs on them are kind of cool looking

  • nice shot, what poundage is ya bow? im looking at pickin up a 150lb crossy for goats and maybe dear, (dont have many pigs in my state :( but wondering what the poundage on that thing is, it put that thing down pretty quick, i was very impressed.

  • Thanks. I like to shoot 175 lb pull bows. I tend to hunt everything and go out of the country occasionally, and shoot big dense hogs, so I like to be prepared for anything with one bow.

The 150s are great for goats and whitetail, so you can't go wrong with that one either. Good hunting! Come back and tell me what you get with your bow.

  • cheers i will, i ended up picking it up the other day, its a pretty tight bit of equiptment for the price, and i just heard that there is gonna be a goat cull in tha flinders rangers soon so ill let you know how i go, have fun and good hunting

  • great impact shot! LOL

  • nice shot!

  • can you view it if you don't know discretion?

  • you rock!!!!! girls need to hunt more good vid.

  • They're going about their daily life, eating like a pig, and suddenly out of no where he's dead.

  • excellent shot

  • mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Time for some Southern Fried Pork Chops!!

  • Now that's a LadyKiller...

  • I realize that they are destructive and there are lots. But I still feel envious. Send a few my way. It would be great to be able to hunt them any time. Another good video.

  • good job hoghunterdiva. it's nice to see woman getting out and putting steel on target. us men have to watch out now, the woman are going to laugh at us now when we can't bring home the bacon. but what can i say i like bacon harvested by a lady better than bacon bought at a store by a man.

  • LOL. Ah, the critters of South Texas! It's a collared Peccary, aka Javelina. I used my crossbow with an aluminum arrow topped with a MUZZY 125 grain 4 blade broad head. Ne er works like I plan. I wanted to track that day and brush up on my skills. Oh well.

  • what the hell was that what did u use to hunt it?

  • ok, we are the smartest animals on earth and thats how we solve a problem? killing weaker animals? damn wheres the fucking evolution? -_-

  • So, sounds like you need some actual experience with Javelina. Like maybe standing in the middle of a group of Javs, and let me film as they take your leg off. LOL. It'll be okay. When they start eating you, I'll shoot them off and save you. Oh, and they do taste very good. No steroids, fat, cholestrol, or additives like the meat "raised" and sold in stores. Hmm? Maybe we have a healthy idea here? Consume wild game? Home grown veggies not sprayed with insecticides?

    Just a thought young one.

  • @hoghunterdiva, well said.

  • its called population control. The javelina dont have a so called predator which hunts them. So usually, people just hunt them to keep them from overpopulating ranches. And they are also considered pests. So we dont hunt javelina just for the hell of it, we have a purpose. And i hear they taste great.

  • are you retarded or just very slow 'segerzzang' ? maybe you best learn how the world works around you before you make foolish comments with your consumerist and detached thinking. get a grip man, understand why things happen around you that you are displeased with, before you voice your opinions

  • Its seems to me you are very uneducated on wild life. The propose of hunting is to keep wild life at an even blance. Those Wild Pigs do a lot of damage to the echo system meaning that kill other live stock which can lead to insinktion. But you would know that would'ent? You must be on of those PETA veggterian Pussy 's

Because all you animimal right idoits are a bunch of pussys.

  • evolution is what got us to the top of the food chain, want to give up that possie? go for your life, im gonna stay here and enjoy a nice feed of roast pork, mmm crackling....

  • 2:28 head shot

  • where was this at. i live in alice texas

  • This was in Karnes county. I'm hunting south of Alice right now, close to Falfurrias TX. Lots of these lil bugars in south Texas, huh?

  • Great video. I've got a pretty good javelina hunt on my page. It was a fun hunt!

  • I have more to load if the companies I play with don't use them. I took another nice one the first 5 minutes of my weekend this past week. Cool! We ate Javelina tender tacos and I got lots of compliments on them. Can't just get those anywhere! Good Hunting!

  • Javelina taste great i prefer the taste of it over boar or pork."Salt,Pepper and some lemon..mmm" These guys are all over Southern Tx, The Three Rivers Area is a great place to start if you are interested in hunting for one.

  • Same here. I'd rather eat Javelina than boar hog for sure. We are hunting 2 hours south of Three Rivers since Sept.1st. I bow fish Choke every chance I get! I would love to hunt that area. Hard to get in there. Thanks for the post!

  • awesome!

  • awesome music, can u eat javelina, some people say hell yea some people say hell no.

  • wow thats nice hog

  • Theres another critter I would love to go to Texas and shoot. That was a great shot too.You dropped him like a bad habit, good job.lol

  • god that was a great shot

  • What an adventure! Do they taste as good as wild boar or better?

  • Actually, the Peccary tastes much better and less "gamey" as a wild boar. Seems the meat is much more white than the boar also. Thanks for asking.

  • Congratulations Wendy, I must say that shot placement put that Javelina right down in the dirt !! Excellent footage, great video. keep up the great work !!
